Special Agents of the Resistance!

For this update, we wanted to focus a bit on some of the early concept art our team has been developing. We have some exciting new character and location designs to show off, and we hope you get as excited about these concepts as we are!

With less than 48h to go to reach the end of this campaign, we have now crossed 93% funding and have less than $5,700 left to cross the finish line!!! Can we still make it? With everyone's support and enthusiasm - absolutely!

First, on to some of the main Rocket Ranger co-stars that our artists have been working on...

Many of you will remember Jane Barnstorff, the gorgeous daughter of mastermind scientist Otto Barnstoff...and Rocket Ranger's love interest in the game...

A few weeks ago, we had given a preview of our artist's work on Jane's character during a speedpaint live session on Twitch...this is how Jane was presented then...

Jane is a strong-willed character, and in Rocket Ranger Reloaded she will play a central role in the outcome of the story and the destiny of the world...So, we present you the finalized, early concept version of Jane Barnstorff!

In addition to Jane, a new cast of scientists will also be making an appearance in Rocket Ranger Reloaded...but, who are they? What do they do? Are they former colleagues of Dr. Otto? Only Rocket Ranger will be able to find out!

A further lineup of characters that go beyond the original game is currently planned, and the more funding we are able to raise, the wider the scope of the plot and the more characters will show up!

Who else will make an appearance?

In addition to the work that we have started on the characters to be featured in the main plot of the game, a few locations have begun to be explored and planned! Featured below, we are proud to show the progress on the top-secret moonbase location that the Nazis are building, captured by our own spies at a great cost!

What this construction site will eventually turn into, we can only guess...but somehow we have an ominous feeling about it... it also seems that the Nazi's colonization of the moon is much farther advanced than what was believed in 1940...

We hope that this inside early look into some of our concept art has given everyone one more reason to support Rocket Ranger Reloaded! We are really proud of our progress and the work done by our team, and hope that the recent expanded PC demo has been enjoyed by all of you so far!

@Johnny Walker: Thanks for the great input!

Looks great in many ways, except she looks well, very plain... The original design of her character reminded me more of Lauren Bacall (another strong, independent and feisty woman -- but not to mention incredibly sexy). Perhaps you could consider returning her Bacall haircut?

@light487 - Kickstarter Junkie: Remember that Jane, in the original Rocket Ranger, is a very independent, feisty girl who is not really impressed by the clumsy behavior of Tom Cory (aka Rocket Ranger). She's the daughter of a genius scientist, and is quite smart and witty herself. We plan to expand her personality in the new game with more opportunities to expose her character and relationship to the Rocket Ranger...and who knows...she might actually be more involved in the resistance than you think... :)

Character models look cool. Thumbs up!

@light487: I think she looks determined.

@Cinemaware: Good to see she isn't unnecessarily scantily clad, either. Too many developers are going down that track and I'm glad Cinemaware is not guilty of this error!

Hrmm.. Jane doesn't look like a very nice person from the expression on her face.. is that the intention for the character? Is it just me or is she scowling and angry? She, at the very least, doesn't look happy to be there...
