Darkstalkers: The Movie
Powerful warriors wage war as the world is plunged into darkness. Adapted from the Capcom arcade game "Night Warriors: Darkstalkers."
"Darkstalkers" is a proposed feature-film adaptation of the classic arcade game of the same name. In it, powerful warriors wage war amongst one another as the world is plunged into darkness.
"Darkstalkers," known in Japan and Asia as "Vampire," is a series of 2D fighting games developed and released by Capcom. It is set in pastiche Gothic horror universe and features a highly stylized, cartoonish graphic style. The series' characters are based on either various kinds of monsters or their hunters.
Darkstalkers introduced many of the concepts used in later Capcom fighting games, including its first use of 16-bit color animation sprites and gameplay mechanics later employed in the Street Fighter Alpha and Marvel vs. Capcom series.
Besides video games, the Darkstalkers media franchise also includes a cartoon TV series, an anime miniseries, a comic book series, and several manga, guide and art books.

"Salvation comes in the form of Donovan, a repentant killer who now hunts Darkstalkers. Along the way, however, he becomes embroiled in a war between the Demon Realm and Mortal World - a war which he cannot hope to survive alone. He has no choice but to ally himself with the very 'creatures' he has been hunting - including a succubus, a werewolf and a vampire. In the end the half-blooded Donovan, constantly battling his own heritage, must find balance within himself before he can bring balance to the world."

Risks and challenges
The primary obstacle with this particular project is that this Kickstarter campaign is just the first step. With the licensing secured, the film would then need to be developed and funded by other means and production companies. As such, investors may not see activity or development immediately. It could take some time, but we have the utmost faith that our connections and determination will yet yield results.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
