I hope your 2014 has been a good one so far. It's been a crazy wonderful couple of months at The Cookie Department. In January we launched our 1.5oz cookie we call "break size". These were created to meet the needs of our biggest customer, Google and similar commercial accounts. But the response to our break size cookie has been tremendous, so we've started providing the option to our retail customers and online addicts!
Next month we're finally launching our gluten free "Cherry Bomb", a first to market probiotic double chocolate chip cherry cookie! We took the time we needed to get this one just right. We think our fans will find that it was worth the wait!
We've been making great headway with our distribution network. We're in talks with UNFI, the world's largest distributor of natural products. In April we're meeting with Costco Northern California, hearing from Virgin America Airlines and closing a deal with Barnes & Noble College Bookstores (with over 700 college campuses in the US!) Meantime, it seems every week we add another hi-tech campus to our roster of happy cookie customers.
These developments have been the result of a lot of hard work and long hours, great customers who keep coming back for more, and of course our enthusiastic backers, especially the early ones like you!
