This film hopes to encourage that you should get to know people before coming up with preconceived ideas based off of a few mannerisms.

Marcus experiences an uncomfortable situation at the local newsagents regarding adult magazines, thankfully his friend doesn’t catch him and they purchase drinks and food for the night to come. A Group of friends chill in one of their basements, drinking and playing games. After an uncomfortable conversation regarding dating girls, Marcus and his best friend, Jacob, step outside to smoke. Jacob then attempts to find out the reason behind Marcus’ discomfort, which results in a drunk Marcus making a pass at him. After the altercation, Jacobs storms off, leaving Marcus to have a panic attack. Marcus then returns to the group and explains his position, his homosexuality and the problems he faces. His friends approve of him coming out and reassure him that they will be there for him. Marcus still awake makes his way outside to watch the sunset, he is slowly joined by the rest of the boys.

CHARACTERS: Marcus is our main character he is struggling to come out to his best friends because of his background, Jacob is his best friend who has a steady girlfriend. Then there’s Evan who is the cleverest of the four and is looking for a girlfriend but doesn’t want one-night stands. Last but not least there is Connor, he is the biggest lad out of the whole group, who lives for partying and pulling.

About Us: We are a group of film production students in our final year of studies. We have been tasked with creating a final film to the best of our abilities and of course we want to end our studies on a high note. Our crew consists of:

Producer - Alisa Zasenko Director - Harriette Grimes Cinematographer - Jordan Heath Editor - Nasya Addy 1st AD - Caitlin Lee-Wilcox

What We Need: Our spending for the project will be extremely transparent for everyone who donates. The money gathered for the project will be spent 100% on making this film, covering costs such as location, props, food, travel, accommodation and payments for our on-screen talent. The crew will not receive any money gather from this fund-raiser, as it is for our final project.

Risks and challenges

One of the major risks and challenges include cast and crew getting hurt on set, however, we do have a first aider on set and 5 BA Hons specialists handling the equipment.
