About this project
Since the year 2003, Chad Galland & I, Pete Kolo have consistently worked together to develop a new sound that can be distinguished from many. Now in 2012, in spite of our growth and accomplishments, we’ve been inspired to create a stupendous project by the name of “The Outbreak”. Though we have an extensive journey ahead of us, after all the hard work and time spent up to now, we feel that we are finally ready to release this project. It contains 16 various tracks that reach a wide range of different demographics. Not only can you relate to the music, furthermore, it takes you on an eye-opening journey and enables you to emotionally connect with one self.
We want to utilize the launch of “The Outbreak” to help connect with people around the world. Before we can expand to a global audience, we want to reach out to all the fans around Houston, Texas, and throughout the country.
Aside from wanting to connect to a larger fan base, we want to revitalize the music industry and completely separate ourselves from all other artists. As unfortunate as it may be, the music industry has become extremely diluted with commercialized music and only seems to be getting worse. As daunting as a task that may be, we are here to change that. We are here to change the way music is perceived by its listener’s and to create real feeling in our art.
We will accomplish this by using many different strategies. We will continue to produce the ground-breaking and revolutionary type of music we are known for, and still continue to obtain “The Outbreak” units and distribute them to anyone we encounter. In addition to increasing “The Outbreak’s” circulation, we plan to sponsor and host community events, create exceptional music videos to incorporate visual stimulation, and reach out to 3rd party promoters to help spread the music faster. Furthermore, we plan to host private listening parties to showcase some of the new music that we will be putting out.
Every dollar of every donation will be directly allocated to the promotion of “The Outbreak” and all the projects involved. The funds will be used for the purchasing of more units, hosting community events in our respective areas, creating music videos, and most importantly, giving back to the community.
With our efforts, we’ve been able to record, mix and master the entire project, finalize the theme, and start performing live at different venues. At the rate the DJ industry has been increasing, we felt that it was best to invite a couple of DJ’s to host the project so that it can reach the listeners at the party scene. Therefore we brought along DJ Rambo (Graduating UTSA Student) and DJ O.G. Ron C (Houston Legend) along for the journey. Also, now that we have created the official “The Outbreak” prototype, we have been able to spread the project throughout Houston, and all over the World Wide Web. With the rules and regulations of the industry, we are also well aware that our craft has to be protected, therefore we have done that for the entire project through Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI).
With all thats been accomplished, and all that we have to accomplish, now we come to you asking for your help and support on what we have ahead of us. We believe in our music just as much as we belive in kickstarter and you all out there. Thank you for all of your support.
