Box and Book Measurements

Some have been asking us: "How big is the box?" Our current plans call for 10.5" x 10.5" x 3" which is the same size as the hefty Munchkin Monster Box that we published earlier this year. This is a lot of box, yes, but it needs to be to work well on game store shelves and to store all of the game contents.

As for the books, each one is 8" x 10" in size, slightly smaller than our standard GURPS hardcover book. The three larger books are perfect bound softcovers while the two smaller books are each saddle-stitched.

Lastly, the Dungeon Fantasy GM Screen folds down to the same 8" x 10" size as the books so that the screen, and included 16-page booklet, all fit into the Dungeon Fantasy Roleplaying Game box. (A bonus bit of info for those who were wondering: We're using 2.0mm chipboard for the screen. That's the same stock weight that we used for the heavier counters in the Ogre Designer's Edition game.)

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask in the comments, below, or on our GURPS forums.

@Scot Ryder - We're currently planning on 2.0mm chipboard, the same weight used for the heavier Ogre Designer's Edition counters. I don't own the Pathfinder Bestiary Box so I cannot state how these will compare to those Pathfinder cardboard figures.

What weight card stock will be used for the card bird figures? Will they be closer to SJ Games' previous Cardboard Heroes or similar to the Pathfinder Bestiary Box figures?
