Funded! This project was successfully funded on April 24, 2012.

A unique couple with preexisting health conditions disagrees over whether or not to adopt the only child their agency finds for them.

Special thanks to everyone who has already volunteered their time and talents. Without your encouragement and expertise, this short film would still be just a dream.

Complete Me

When it comes to love, Jake and Sara have it all. But what they see in each other is not what the rest of the world sees. Even their family doubts they will make competent parents. Still, they hope against hope that someone will pick them. When their adoption agency finds a match, the child is not what they were expecting.

We need to raise at least $300 to cover the basic costs of this 30 minute short (like I said we have some wonderfully talented volunteers). We also networked using FilmBreak. We can always do more with more. We already have a few ideas and contacts for venues to share this film such as the National Arts and Disability Center. With extra money, we can enter contest or put on a mini shorts festival. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support. Let's make a movie!

Project Team: Steve Day, Matt Harrison, John Gonzales, Paton Marshall, Taylor McPartland, and Adam Princenthal.

Special Thanks: Filmbreak, 3 Drinks Productions, and International Child Amputee Network.
