About this project
Want to discover your inner green? Reduce your trash and make your own healthy soil and organic fertilizer for your garden without venturing to a store and teach children sustainability.
How? WormWatch… We help everyone learn how to compost with worms. It's called vermicomposting! We developed the WormWatcher line of educational vermicomposting products that make going green fast, easy and fun!
Each year, you can process over 100 pounds, create approximately 60 pounds of soil, and 40 or more gallons of "worm tea" - a natural soil fertilizer/conditioner. At this point, we need seed money to increase our manufacturing capacity. The capital will be used to offset manufacturing start-up expenses and help us teach others how to take green steps and reduce their waste. Help us shift how everyone thinks about their trash and make a difference. After a watermelon disappears in 5 days, our customers are amazed. In 6-8 week,s they have beautiful fertile soil to grow healthy food. What a way to honor this 42nd anniversary of Earth Day!
The endproducts of vermicomposting are valuable - costing over $700 if you bought them in a retail store. You make your own organic soil and fertilizer at your convenence - rather than driving to the retail stores.
