We have grown a lot since 2012... now in over 500 classrooms and hundreds of homes! You ask what is next?

I just finished my children's book Digging Deeper!  I hope to bring children (and teachers) up to date on the latest findings about soil food web ecology (see below for details).  I want more children to dig into dirt, explore this beautiful natural world outside and think about trash!

There is nothing easier to open up one's mind than a good story -  In Digging Deeper, we reinforce the idea that one man's trash is another's treasure.  Our media is filling them with fear - of germs, strangers, and bugs.  Recognizing that children and parents are busier than ever, we want to adopt technology as our friend and create an e-book to share how they can get involved in outdoor activities and organizations outside of school to learn more, ex. Boy Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, etc.

Why is the message important?  We now know that your soil is full of critters - critters like bacteria and fungi that create the nitrogen balance of our soil... When we overuse chemicals and pesticides, our soil/gardens look bad as time passes because this natural soil biology has been disrupted by our impatience...THIS is why compost tea and worm tea is so popular these days.

What is next?  Look for our Kickstarter for this ebook in late summer of 2014!

We just came back from the USA Science Festival. WOW Fantastic!

Thanks for the votes of confidence.  We now have 1,000 science teacher names from conference from science teacher conferences who want to WormWatch.   Over 500 names in the last month from our travels.  Our Global Worming t-shirt is making everyone smile.
