This is an exhibition of photographs and artwork detailing the couple's account of his 2008 Deployment to Operation Enduring Freedom.
Talamieka Brice and former Army Sgt. Charles Brice, award winning artists and owners of Brice Media in Ridgeland, will present "Combat Boots and High Heels," an exhibition of photographs and artwork detailing the couple's account of his 2008 Deployment to Operation Enduring Freedom. “We’re letting the public see a rare glimpse of what life is like for the soldiers who serve abroad and the battle on the homefront with the families they leave behind," said Talamieka.
Charles spent eight years in the military, as both a Paratrooper and a photojournalist. His pictures and articles have been posted worldwide including on the Department of Defense website as well as the official U.S. Army website. Talamieka Brice has spent ten years as a graphic designer/art director for former newspaper Planet Weekly and the past six years as a graphic designer for Methodist Rehabilitation Center. She has received numerous national and international awards in graphic design and is the official designer for the U.S. Paralympics Wheelchair Fencing hubcaps.
