It's Criminal :Stealing your way to a better life
A game that is easy to pick up but requires strategy to win. It is something new and fun!
HOW IT ALL STARTED... I would love to say I was inspired by some great act, a play or even a movie but the truth is I was simply watching “World’s Dumbest Criminals” when I had this idea. I had an idea for a game that was easy to pick up but requires strategy to win, something new and fun. But I wanted to create a game that I could be proud of. Months of testing have gone into developing the board and the game play. Adjusting the board and cards until it played perfect every time. I have fully produced the game, but I need your help to finish it. Printing and shipping the game is the biggest expense and I need help to bring the game to life.
The above picture is first playable board I printed and as you can see, I was still deciding on the last of the names.
After many concepts for the map, the above picture was the final version.
WHAT YOU GET IN THE FULL GAME
The Board: the board can be seen above
Cards: There are four different decks. These cards are designed to add strategy to an otherwise simple roll and go board game. Use them wisely to gain the upper hand!
The Loot Deck: this will act as your money and determine the winner of the game.
The Goods Deck: these cards range from equipment that will help you to rob a location, sabotages that can make robbing harder for another player, or even rob your fellow players.
The Crew Deck: From professionals to the incompetent, hiring extra muscle to hit a place can only help, right? Well not always
The Prison Deck: Going to jail is going to happen and when it does you take a card. Like the Goods and Crew decks, it has helpful and unhelpful cards and it is up to you to weather the boons and hardships of prison life.
Dice: two dice
Robbed Location Markers: these show the places that have been robbed. I had them made in various colors so players could brag of their successful robberies.
Pawns: Six player pawns
Risks and challenges
I’ve already playing the game with friends, co-workers and in a few gaming stores. I have a manufacture lined up.
But in order to be able to order all the different parts in a quantity that will make it affordable for others, we need your help so that we can put it into production.
