King Arthur has Excalibur. Thor has Mjölnir. The stories of how these legends acquired their weapons is as legendary as the power within them. Build your next wargaming campaign around the acquisition of a magical weapon. The Kingmaker Stone Bundle is a set of 3D printable weapons embedded into stone terrain. The weapons appear waiting to be freed. It is up to you to create the rich history around these magical weapons. Where did the weapon come from...how did it get forged? Who can touch or wield it? Do they have to be combined with another object to tap their power? These are mysteries that can spawn hours of plots and situations for DMs. The story combinations and permutations never end. Build a campaign around these weapons and elevate them to full characters in your adventures.

Hello, wargamers! My goal is to create a unique set of 3D printable .STL files for tabletop wargaming. I can never seem to find any printable models of weapons embedded into terrain. So I've decided to make a set and figured maybe there are others that would like to have them as well. Every model will be designed to print as a single, unified piece for ensuring the greatest durability during gameplay.

All miniatures are digital .STL files for 3D printing and will be archived into a single downloadable file, or multiple files if necessary. My goal is to get these models as close to Print and Play as possible.

The basic Kingmaker Stone Bundle consists of 3 unique weapons embedded into unique stone-based terrain. As I mentioned above, character weapons should be characters themselves. At the minimum, acquiring the weapon should be a campaign worth remembering. Also, I've expanded the amount of weapons in the Kingmaker Stone Bundle with several stretch goals. If those levels can be funded then everyone will receive a set of weapons that can sustain plenty of campaigns.

I would like to keep the funding as simple as possible so I only created 2 reward levels. If you pledge as a Knight, you will receive the Warhammer and the first funded stretch goal which includes 3 additional stone models. If you pledge as a King, then you will receive the Warhammer, a Sword, and the Mace plus all the funded stretch goals. The King gets everything...the additional stone models, a spirit's face in stone, the power jewel, a wizard's staff, a magical shield, the warrior's helmet, and a battle-axe.

Let's take a look at the basic Kingmaker Stone Bundle...

This stretch goal consists of a mysterious face embedded into stone.

This stretch goal consists of an extra-large mega power jewel embedded into what appears is a stone-like anvil.

This stretch goal consists of an old and powerful wizard's staff.

This stretch goal consists of a magical shield left behind from a historical landmark battle.

This stretch goal consists of the war helmet of a bygone philosopher-king.

This stretch goal consists of a battle axe abandoned from a legendary demi-god.

Risks and challenges

There are very few risks or challenges associated with this project. I will be posting regular updates throughout the development phase and maintaining regular contact with pledgers. Also, these models will be further tweaked for minimal issues on popular 3D printers. A minor risk is that your printer may need adjustment to successfully print the files with maximum detail. There may be a need to recruit one or two pledgers to assist in 3D test printing.

Also, this Kickstarter is for DIGITAL .STL FILES ONLY. The delivery will be instant and there will be no shipping hassles.
