’Requiem’’ is the second part of our tabletop skirmish game Empire of the Dead.
If we manage to reach our goals we will be able to expand on the original game by adding over 70 new charismatic models. We also want to start a new range of ingenious Steampunk Machines and Victorian Carriages to populate the streets of our darkly Gothic Victorian Empire.
We are West Wind Productions. We are a small British company, specialising in tabletop miniature games. Currently there are six of us Andy Cooper sculptor, Wendy Cooper who runs the business, Andrew Rawling designer of machines, Lee who runs despatch, Martin, Chris and Dave who make the miniatures.
We love the combination of Victorian Sci-Fi (Steampunk) and Gothic Horror.
What we want to do next is complete the second part of Empire of the Dead . We call it EotD Requiem, its an ambitious range of new miniatures which will expand EotD. Requiem introduces a whole host of new characters from Victorian fiction.
Requiem is a massive project! There's maybe three times as much design content compared to the original Empire of the Dead project.
Right now we have around 40% of the range sculpted. With your help we can complete the new character models and put the whole range in to production
If we are successful in reaching our goals, this Kickstarter will enable us to out-source the whole production tooling-up process and free up Andy (/the Andy's) to crack on with more sculpting and model making.
Everyone who takes part will receive a model of Nadezhda Durova,Vampire slayer.
Plus keep an eye out for our stretch goals.

Risks and challenges
We make everything in house, we sculpt the miniatures, we cast the miniatures and then dispatch them. The company we have in mind to make our new production moulds are very reliable and we have used them before for smaller projects. So problems like masters breaking in the mould are easily fixed and quality control is all in house. I don't forsee any delays.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
