Have a question?
Any update on plaster version shipping ?
ok. thank you then!
Look at the pledge level you selected. You should see a line at the bottom about the survey, for example my says "Survey sent: 09/24/13 • Your response"
I am waiting for the delivery of the Menurkey. When should I expect it?
We have a survey response from you-- you're good to go! Thanks for checking!
I still have not received my survey and am worried about not being able to get my Menurkey or time. Can you send me another copy or help me out. it would be terrible if i didnt get this awesome project because of that
I echo dr-steve. Not one retailer should get a Menurkeys plaster or ceramic shipped to them until all kickstarter pledges have been fulfilled before the first night of Hanukkah.
Thanks for letting us know! We have addressed the issue and the site is back to its regular Menurkey program.
Looks like http://www.menurky.com is hacked. I tried to access the site both by typing the address and following the link here on Kickstarter.
Sorry this has happened.
Thanks for your note. I am about to post an update which addresses this very concern. As you can imagine with a project like this, everything is happening concurrently - production, retail relationships, shipping (as products are ready), etc. Unfortunately due to our tight time schedule we haven't really able to map things out that...elegantly. For those of you who supported the Kickstarter, we owe the most thanks - your mandate was to get us into production, and you were successful in doing that. Of course we plan to fulfill our commitment to you - in the form of your rewards. We are still hopeful this will happen before Hanukkagiving and there are no signs yet that it won't.
A note on the Jewish Museum (and every other retailer): they are getting the plaster Menurkeys. As you probably know, the ceramic Menurkeys are much more limited and also take longer to make. So while the Museum has taken stock of a few plaster editions they do not have any ceramic ones. I hope this answers your question. Thanks again for your support.
Hi Anthony, I haven't heard anything from you guys recently. Then, just a few minutes ago, I saw a posting on Facebook from the National Museum of American Jewish History. They're a source for Menurkeys. Congrats on the distribution channel, but... WILL THEY BE GETTING THEIR MENURKEYS BEFORE I WILL????? Will yiou be able to get me my ceramic blue Menurkey in time for my grand huge family Hankukkagiving celebration?
Quick question if I picked a white option instead of a blue meurkey, can I change my option?
Hi Linda, sorry for the confusion! We are quite proud of our Blue Menurkey and would never want to hide it! If you check out the 'Tchotchkes' page you will see a larger image and if you click it you can see an even larger one. Enjoy!!
I wasn't able to find any pictures of the Blue Menurkey in the photo gallery. The only photo that I could find is a tiny thumbnail on the "Buy Now" page, which is really hard to see. Is there some reason you're not posting a larger picture of it?
The Menurkey website is now up: www.menurkey.com Visit us there for all kinds of Menurkey info, to place orders, and to see the much anticipated 'Blue Menurkey' if you are waiting to complete your survey!
I'm getting repeated, urgent requests to complete the survey to select my Menurkey, with but the pictures showing the blue and white options still aren't available. Is there a deadline for completing the survey?
Hi Anthony, Just another voice waiting for the pic so I can select blue or white. Looking forward to seeing it, and I'll fill out the survey then. Thanks!
I am so excited about your product. Please let me know how I can get my Menurkey. I did pledge for the $36 one but I would be willing to pay more for the "upgraded" models. Do you email me to find out where to ship the Menurkey? Thank you so much for doing this--very impressive.
I chose blue just now & want to wait to see it. Can you put my choice on hold. Thanks Sandy Easley
Thanks for all the comments, and the responses! To all who are wondering about the choice of the white or the blue ceramic Menurkey, we encourage you to wait for the photo of the blue one to decide. It will not effect delivery time. Best - Anthony Weintraub
I'm wondering the same thing as Melissa about waiting for photos. :)
Do you mind if I wait to fill out the survey until the blue pictures are posted? I'm not sure which color to request!
Just wondering if the survey went out as we didn't recieve one. Did we miss it?
Hello! Yes, we reached our goal so we will be making Menurkeys! Our website, www.menurkey.com will be up soon and you will be able to order one there! You will have the option of purchasing a plaster or ceramic version. Thanks again!
I've only pledged $5. Does that insure that I am able to buy a menurkey? Are you making both plaster and porcelain? When will they be available? We are all so excited here in Atlanta! thanks!
So excited! I love reading the updates! South Florida is ready for the Menurky!!!!
Hi Avrom, thank you so much for your pledge! When the campaign ends we will be sending out a survey to collect everyone's shipping information. Let us know if you have any other questions!
How is it going to be sent to us? I didn't see any place to put in an address to have it send.
Hey Jason! Thank you SO much! It's thanks to backers like YOU that we've come this far! In the first update we were announcing our Stretch Goal of $36,000 and we decided to continue towards that goal with our initial reward levels. The Stretch Goal was a new total *goal*, but no new *rewards* were announced. Does that clear things up? Thanks again for your continued Menurkey support!
Congrats on reaching $41,000, so what is the stretch goal for $36,000 that you mentioned in update 1?
We'll try our hardest to get it to you by then Joan. Thank you for your support!
Nov. 28th? Know it's a REALLY tight planning, manufacturing,& shipping schedule, but I'm HOPING mine arrives by Nov. 26th when our family starts meandering north, east, west and south to gather for the holiday in New Hampsire , starting the evening of the 27th!!!
Way to go Anthony! The design looks great and I can't wait to use it on Thanksgiving with my turkey and sweet potato latkes.
Also, just to be clear, the Menurkey won't be available in porcelain, only plaster and ceramic. Thank you!
Hi Elizabeth, unfortunately you can not pledge at two Reward Levels under the same name. You could have a friend/family member pledge under their name on your behalf. Sorry for the inconvenience, it's a Kickstarter thing. Hope that helps! And THANK YOU for your support!!
I've already pledged for a plaster one but a relative of mine asked me if I would kindly pledge for her to receive a porcelain one. How do I pledge for both ? Thanks!
Thank you, James!!! We love your support!!
Congrats to all of you and the brilliant young inventor, Asher. I'm not Jewish (not officially at least) but I look forward to lighting this up at my friend's Hanukkah dinner, hopefully right before devouring a massive amount of turkey.
Thank you!!! We so appreciate your support and kind words. Hop the kids love it!
If we reach our goal we are planning to sell Menurkeys through our website, www.menurkey.com However, they will likely be sold at a higher retail price there than the $36/$100 reward levels we have through this campaign. I hope that answers your question! Thank you for your interest in Menurkey!
I plan on taking my Menurkey on the road from my home in Queens, to my brother's house in Rockland County for Thanksgivukkah dinner. I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone's reaction, especially the little kids. My family already suspects that I'm a little nutty. This just might seal the deal. But congratulations on such a clever idea and being so supportive of your son.
Will additional Menurkeys be available for purchase, or are you only making enough for backers? (And if the former, how/where will we be able to do so?)
Thomas, we can't tell you how much we appreciate your support! We are so glad you consider the Menurkey such a significant artifact. Thank you!!
I am looking forward to having this project come to fruition. I hope that when you go to purchase the candles, you purchase candles made in Israel. I am making plans to leave my Menurkey, which I view as a very significant artifact blending the history of the United States of America and the Jewish People, to an institution in my area that preserves Jewish history. Congratulations Asher! We share the name.
Thank you, Phyllis!! So glad you love the Menurkey. What a wonderful idea! It would be great to see what families do with their Menurkey!!
What a brilliant idea! The white Menurkey prototypes look great. The Menurkey could also be hand-painted and customized by each family - even more fun! You could have a gallery to celebrate your Kickstarted inspiration.
Thanks, Kimberly!! We completely agree!
The best ideas come from Children. Good luck on your project. I would love to have this for our holiday celebrations.
Thank you, Shelly. We're beyond excited as well! And a Menurkey wedding!? Sounds like the best ever!
I am very excited about the Menurkey. We hope you get enough funding to have this project happen. Should we get our own Menurkey it will be used not only at our Thanksgiving but also at our wedding on November 30th for the 4th night. FUN.
