About this project
The inspiration for this story comes from the Greek myth of Orpheus and the death of his wife, Eurydice. In my adaptation, Eurydice, a butterfly, is swept away by the wind in the middle of her wedding. It is up to Orpheus, a Death's-Head Hawkmoth, to find and rescue her from deep within the dark forest, battling scary insects and eventually meeting with an arachnid Hades.
It will be a short film - around 7-10mins in length.

(If I reach the Stretch Goal of 7k I will give additional prizes)
Why I Need Your Help
The animation process for this film will be intensive and time consuming. The funds raised will go towards production, voice actors, a soundtrack, editing and distribution.
Even if you can't donate, any help in making this project funded successfully will be greatly appreciated! Please spread the world on Twitter/Facebook/Blogs/Tumblr/DeviantArt.
Risks and challenges
As this is a solo project, I am relying only on myself to complete it. This is a short film so I know that I will get it finished within the year I've set myself.
So far, I've never had problems with completing projects to deadlines set either by myself or people who have commissioned me for my work. People who will donate pledges over £20 will be able to access the development blog and see the animation progress [the blog will be updated weekly] I do take into consideration that delay might happen due to something I cannot predict [computer crashing/personal issues/lightning strikes] but any delay should not be longer then 30 days.
The only problem I foresee is with the distribution aspect of the project. The first thing I will be doing is submitting the film to festivals. There is no guarantee which festivals will accept my film but knowing that my previous film has been accepted to a few and I have improved since then, it is likely to be accepted in some of them.
However, the challenge of achieving success on the festival circuit will not affect the completion of the film and therefore all prizes will be delivered as promised soon after finishing it. The only challenge from all the rewards might be with the book as it could take some time to collect images, write then have it printed and delivered. But it will arrive at your doors eventually!Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
