This was one of two scam projects I backed... actually, the second one doesn't feel like a scam, just that the guy kinda gave up... There are several that sent a refund, a few that still are working on finishing what they started (long after they should have completed it). In my opinion, as long as someone tries to finish their project, despite running out of cash, I can respect that and wait. As a PC gamer, my backlog is massive, so I don't mind things taking longer.

    2. Olivier Lebeau-Paradis on April 11

This was my first scam on Kickstarter and, luckily, the only one. (Confirmed at least.) I still visit from time to time in hope that those crooks got arrested or at least fined for that or something else.

    3. Tomas Garcia on April 4

I guess we now know where the "Con"Ex comes from...

    4. CoffeeCaveman on March 24

Firstly, fuck these guys. Secondly, I sincerely hope this was their first and last con, but I seriously doubt it. Once you taste blood money like they have I don't imagine they go back.

Also, it's a shame such a good idea got soiled by the likes of con-guys like them.

If there's anyone who was inspired by this idea also happens to make games, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you changed the name (so they couldn't sue you for intellectual prop-whatever) and made this idea in your own right.

Because lets be honest, the idea for this game looked fucking sick.

    5. Burton on March 7

Maksym Pashanin, the internet never forgets!

    6. Aaron Gelb on February 10

The worst part is that the game looked SO COOL. Shame it will never be made.

    7. Burton on February 4

I like to come back here for giggles. This was the first fraudulent backing I was apart of, makes me think how far we may have come. Unfortunately, this was not the last scam I would back.

Anyone find out anything new about these guys ?

    8. Burton on December 3

Any new news? Still no help from KS or Amazon.

Woof. After reading about Pashanin's dubious history, his profile icon takes on a new meaning. Also, fellow kickstarter-backers, don't let an experience like this sour you on the rest. I've backed a number of other campaigns and have found myself much more satisfied!

Although this experience has taught me to take a closer look at the people behind a campaign I may back.

    10. Zombieversteher on October 1, 2015

just my luck the first kickstarter i do is a scam :D well i didn´t stop with kickstarter and got a lot of cool new boardgames;)

    11. Marco Grosso on September 25, 2015

This game looks so nice, is the tech demo still available somewhere?

    12. Ian Miles Cheong on September 17, 2015

      Biggest fucking scam.

I "only" pledged $10, so it's not a huge deal.
I just feel bad for those twenty people who pledged $100.

    14. Clockwork Angel Studios on September 13, 2015

      "Be respectful and considerate huh?"

Sure, maybe if I'm refunded my money for not receiving something I paid for.

Does anyone have the demo saved so I can play my $10 tech demo? :(

    19. Corwin Loach on July 28, 2015

Yay it's been over a year since they left with our money!

Would it be possible to file a complaint at FTC's web page here: ? I'm not sure if that makes much sense and how to do that properly.

P.S. Idea came from this article:

    21. Lars H on June 4, 2015

Some people just needs to be high fived.
      In the face.
      With a chair.

    23. Corwin Loach on May 19, 2015

      @Alejo Ruiz
It's not happening, and we aren't getting our money back.

    24. AlejØ Ruiz on May 17, 2015

      any news on this??

    25. David De Ost on April 27, 2015

I don't think there are many options concerning legal action. The only action you can take is to punch him in the face if you happen to run into him.

Jeff Gilles on April 27, 2015

Anyone interested in pursuing legal action? Not sure what can be done, but I think its worth investigating.

This kickstarter is a bad joke - made four times the target and rode off into the sunset. Not impressed.

    29. Dablue on March 15, 2015

Bummer.. no.5 in a grand total of 175 projects backed. And in only 1 of those 5 i saw it coming in hinesight.

    30. Burton on February 26, 2015

Dan Hall, I asked the same question about three weeks ago and got no response on here. Just to let you know, I have emailed AmazonPayments and they hide behind the "been too long to care policy." Kickstarter staff did actually email me back but they also did not care too much. Was just given a series of "We're sorry for your bad experience" lines from KickStarter.

    31. Dan Hall on February 25, 2015

anyone got an update on these con artists?

    32. PegasusOrgans-AGL 589 on February 7, 2015

Seems like those without an icon are naive as F.

    33. Burton on February 5, 2015

Concerning this project, has anyone recieved a response from either Kickstarter or AmazonPayments?

    34. Aaron Gelb on January 14, 2015

As of August, the scum brothers seem to have snuck out of the condo they were squatting in and have never been heard from since. Who cares, I'm out $25 bucks....I've lost more than that in donated pants pockets.

Either way, lesson learned. This whole thing is over.

The only real tragedy (other than the poor woman who had to go through the AirBnB debocle) is that this game looked SOOO cool.

    35. Kanoa Ishihara on January 12, 2015

I still want to believe... But that Air bnb thing has really thrown me for a loop.

    36. Anthony Bonome on January 6, 2015

The picture is "ConEx". Ex-con, or just a con? Scumbag.

    37. William Friedman on December 15, 2014

Pedro, super unlikely. As far as I know kickstarter is very strict with their "buyer beware" Policy. Refunds can only come from the person running the project.

      I believe. I still believe... :D

    39. Pedro on December 5, 2014

Ok, so are we getting our money back or what? Kickstarter is taking too long to take a stand on this issue.

    40. AlejØ Ruiz on November 28, 2014

So do we know anything new about this project?
I usually dont care too much about deadlines because i still have a lot of backlog to clean but i havent seen any update from this game since July.

    41. SharpKris on October 22, 2014

still no update? i feel like kickstarter should seriously take some responsibility here

    42. Anatoli Petrov on October 10, 2014

Markus Rajala, +1 - absolutely agree!
