This record is the culmination of a year spent incessantly touring, eating oatmeal and beans, busking in the subway, creating art out of grief, and embracing every moment an audience member approached me with joy in their eyes for what they'd witnessed.
Yes, I want to create a beautiful document of the work I've created this past year. I also want to give back to the community. I want to create a recording experience and finished record that involves as many of you as possible. This thing, it isn't just mine, it never was, and at the moment, this is the best way I can express my gratitude.
I hope this project will inspire you. I also hope that it will change the way recording is perceived and executed. Why only capture the spirit of a live audience in an album? Here, we can actually create that experience and embody it. It's exciting. I hope you feel the same.

Risks and challenges
The biggest risk presented by this project is time, since the idea is to include as many people as possible in this process. I aim to complete this record by September. I realize that this will require an immense amount of work scheduling and accommodating schedules, and I hope I'm not being overly optimistic here. Rest assured I will be releasing videos of the process and a song or two as they're completed so you can be involved as the process unfolds, for better or for worse! It'll be wonderfully surprising for all of us.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
