      kerni99 brings up bright sunny day mode - what I'd like here in Florida for day rides is a detachable visor to keep the sun out of my eyes and off my nose! The bright mode idea is brilliant! Not looking forward to having to decide which helmet to take for my ride down the Danube later this summer!

      Just a request. Could you add a “Bright-Summer Day-Mode”? In full sun I don’t want to switch on front and back lights. But I would like to use the flashing lights and the brake light. Would this be possible?

      I got mail from the Lumos team to confirm my adress, name etc so they could proceed for shipping. So I thing This was my fault . I thank the Lumosteam for the answer to me. Now I can wait for my helm...

      Hi,

      I've been using my Lumos helmet for a couple of months now and so far I've been very impressed.
      Having backed over 50 Kickstarter projects, I regard the Lumos as the most successful project I've backed, despite the project running a little behind schedule. It was great that you responded to feedback during the campaign (e.g. the position of the remote buttons), and ended up delivering an excellent quality product.

      The only (very minor) issue is that I've experienced so far is that the black covering started separating from the foam padding at the front of the helmet after just a few weeks. If it starts to really bother me, I noticed that you sell additional sets of padding, and I'm guessing it's possible to buy generic padding from bike shops.
      I just thought I'd mention it in case other people have experienced the same issue. If so, maybe something to consider for your next version...

      I have posted here, sent emails, I filled the final survey months ago and still not even an email or reply to comments on where the helmets are.

      Hi everyone,

      We have been trying to reach everyone who is missing their helmets individually over the past months through the email addresses associated with your Kickstarter accounts/Lumos Helmet pledges. We are very sorry if you have not received our emails.

      The common question here is "where is my helmet?” . There are 2 possible options if you are still missing your helmet 1) we have not received confirmation of your delivery information through the final survey (sent in November and resent monthly since then) or 2) The delivery has failed due to some unforeseen reason.

      In both situations, we would ask anyone who is still missing their helmet to email us on support@lumoshelmet.co so that we can fix the issue. Our response time currently on that channel is 1-2 working days. The support email is also the best channel to reach us for any other issues.

      Hey guys, have been using the helmet over the winter now. I'm still impressed and very happy about it!
      The only thing that doesn't work like i expected is the brake-light feature (especially on rough roads).

      One idea to improve this: If the mount (for the remote) would have an additional input, one could use external brake switches. (For me: i would replace my magura braking levers to magure e-bike braking levers - they have a switch to indicate that the brake is activated)!

      I have finally received my helmet and I am very impressed, it is very comfortable and functional.
      The only comment I have is when powering on the helmet and connecting to the turn switch, this is a bit fiddly. Great job team, cheers Brent

      Thanks for your "report"...I just tried it your way and hope it will work out finally...
      It is so frustrating to just be ignored by those people. Thats not what you call customer serivice.. Especially its not that we are 134234635673 people. Here are just like 7000 backers total, not even a thousand wrote a comment. It will take them like 20 minutes to give us an short update...But no, lets keep those backers waiting with nothing to know

      For everyone waiting for a helmet:

      There is a second survey they sent out 1.5 months ago that needed to be filled out. If you haven't gotten it send an email to "support@lumoshelmet.co" with the subject of "Kickstarter Backer Order".

      It will take 1 week for them to respond to you and they should have linked in the new survey.

      Once you complete the survey you have 1 month (maybe more) to wait until your helmet will just magically show up.

      Please note that you will NOT receive any tracking details or communications from the Lumos team of any kind so don't expect any. If it has been > month you may want to try and contact them through email again. They don't respond to kickstarter messenger, you it's not worth the effort.

      I just got mine and it looks like it was worth the wait.

      UPS just informed me that I have to pay Duty and Tax: 35.61 EUR. So I cannot pick it up at an UPS access point around the corner but only at their base which is way off... too bad!
