Welcome to Living Dead in Denmark by Qui Nguyen; an innovative, exciting play where Shakespearean characters are resurrected to fight the zombie apocalypse. Just Kidding Theatre Company Inc. is producing this show at the esteemed Gene Frankel Theater in the East Village of New York City.
The play is being choreographed by legendary fight director Rick Sordelet and Christian Kelly-Sordelet, with direction by the talented Kathleen Kelly. You will have 17 opportunities to see this amazing play, between April 5th and the 21st.
Living Dead in Denmark is going to be off the charts because you're not just coming to see a play, you'll be experiencing a night of epic, zombie killing action. Upon entering the theater, you'll be handed a poncho, a beer (if you're over 21, of course), have your mind blown and your poncho drenched in blood! We can definitely guarantee a night you'll never forget, to say nothing of the kick ass fighting you'll see.
Your donations will be going towards set design, props, costumes and copious amounts of blood.
Get ready to witness the new standard of action in theater.
Risks and challenges
This show has the potential of becoming a cult hit, so one of our biggest challenges is developing a solid public relations campaign that will really hit our target demographic. Also, due to the heavy physical demands of the play, our cast has to be in phenomenal shape. Because there's always the potential for injury, we need to have incredible understudies who can be prepared to jump on for any role at a moment's notice.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
