In this "Golden age of board games", the Hatom Toy Co. has created a game (the first of three using this same concept), we feel is the most realistic and comprehensive in the sports game category. Pitch and Hit Card Baseball combines one of America's favorite games (baseball), with one of America's favorite hobbies (baseball cards). It contains all the elements of Major League Baseball. Not only can you play baseball like the big leaguers, but you can form neighborhood leagues as well. "Pitch and Hit" comes with six generic teams, but an extra dimension is added when you play with your own baseball cards.
Just think, you can represent your favorite team or compose your own individual All-Star teams to compete against one another. You start your own line-up, pitch, hit and throw out base runners. You also use many of the same "game play" strategies as big league players and coaches,(i.e.- when to steal, when to try for an extra base, when to tag and run or when to put on the "hit and run")." Pitch and Hit" is so comprehensive it can be used as an instructional tool to teach the finer points of the game. You also get to exploit your opposing players weaknesses while playing to your own strengths. There are no dice, wheel spins, statistical data, bells or whistles, just pure baseball. You "tweens" can even challenge dad and others to a game of " Home Run Derby". "Pitch and Hit" is so real you can almost smell the peanuts. So let's give kids a chance to start their dream team competitions, neighborhood leagues and "Home Run Derby" challenges and tournaments.

Over the past ten years or so we've seen YouTube videos of "tween" aged kids attempting to help other eight to twelve year olds in their attempts to find games to play with their sports cards. After all, that is what most kids (including myself), have done with their cards for the past eighty years or so. We feel that with our new line-up of games, "Pitch and Hit Card Baseball" being the first, that we have finally solved this age old problem. We have included six generic teams so even without the use of their own cards kids still get to play the most comprehensive and exciting sports game ever created.
Manufacturing this game is an undertaking that I promised my dad, but it has become part of a very personal commitment in aiding in my attempts to help cure Autism (my only son is autistic). Hatom is pledging at least five percent of our net profits in perpetuity to battle this disease.
Risks and challenges
Production of this game is simple enough as there are no electrical or mechanical parts. We are also very confident in the fact that there will be few or no returns as once you play this game, you will quickly realize that this is the most comprehensive, realistic and fun sports game you've ever played. If you are one of the few who does not concur, then you must be a Dad or older brother who was clobbered by your "tween" son or brother in a game of Home Run Derby (smile).Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
