About

Juniority is a brand new, topical-based talk show, featuring news reports and discussion panels from some of the most straight-talking, honest minds in the world--kids!

Each episode features new topics ranging from politics and current events, youtube videos, and celebrity gossip, with no-spin commentary from an expert guest panel featuring a different group of fresh, up and coming minds each week.

Along with our guest panel, we will have news stories from our staff correspondents from overseas and around the world reporting current events all over the planet.

Tired of the gray-haired Majority? Get ready for the Juniority!

Brian Moote - Comedian/Host

In August 2005, Brian Moote's mother said to him in her usual Irish sarcasm, "Well, if you think you are so funny, why don't you become a comedian then mister?" Shortly thereafter, mostly out of spite, he did. Since then, he's been on Comedy Central’s “Open Mic Fight,” MTV’s “Money From Strangers,” and was a featured comedian on the USA Network’s “Characters Welcome.” Brian has an energetic and conversational style that promises no two sets are exactly the same. His goal when he performs is to facilitate a good time for everyone in the room, or seriously injure himself trying. He is a "just a barrel of fun" says his mother, who to this day takes credit for launching him into the world of show business. He also has a Master’s Degree in Social Work so he has diploma proof that he is a decent human being.

Philmona Tessema - Creator/Producer

Born and raised in Ethiopia, Philmona Tessema is a success story. Since her move to the US in 2005 she won the Federal Bar Communications Association scholarship that allowed her to pursue her education for the first two years at SUNY- Buffalo State College and later transferred to California State University, Northridge where she received her B.A in Cinema and Television Arts as well as her B.A in Theatre. She has also won other scholarships such as The Washington Metropolitan Scholarship and The Arts Council Scholarship from California State University at Northridge.

Steven Stanton - Co-Creator/Writer

Steve is California native who has always had a passion for entertainment. He earned his BA in Cinema & Television arts at California State University, Northridge, where he began seriously pursuing his career in entertainment. During his Senior year at CSUN, he was one of 3 seniors who was selected to write and direct the Senior Thesis Project, which was screened at the WGA Theater in Hollywood. That same year he was lucky enough to obtain an internship on Conan O'Brien's new show on TBS, where he was featured on the show twice in comedy sketches, mostly because of the full beard he sports each and every day. Steve enjoys playing guitar, riding his motorcycle, long walks on the beach, and trimming his beard, or any combination of all of these things.

Kris Rehl - Writer

When Kris started his first job in New York, everyone was all, "Wow! Why do you have such hairy arms?" But he doesn't actually have particularly hairy arms--that job was an assistant school teacher in Chinatown, and "everyone" was a bunch of Asian children, who had never seen an adult white male before. Since then, Kris has worked at several jobs in television and has alas become a professional writer. Kris is a big fan of both kids and comedy, and Juniority is a perfect blend of what he loves about each. Now residing in sunny Sherman Oaks, CA, Kris spends his days writing and rescuing small pets from trees while moonlighting as Hannah Montana and entertaining the masses by night.

Simas Lucas Castillos - Director of Photography

Simas Lucas Castillo grew up on the Islands of Hawaii where his love for photography and film was first born. Upon graduation Simas moved to Califonia to pursue a degree in film with an emphasis in cinematography at CSU Northridge. Since then Simas has worked as a director of photography on various film shoots, both large and small. When not on set Simas continues to expand his portfolio with spec commercials and high fashion photography.

Hermon Tekle - Graphics Designer

At a very young age, Hermon had an interest in video production, he opened doors for himself by aggressively freelancing as a Cameraman, DP and Editor. He is also a self thought Graphics Designer who has various credits to his name for creating company logos, media marketing packages, and much more. Aside from work, most of his time is dedicated to surfing Instagram and playing Temple Run.
