Status Update

Just wanted to update everyone and let you know I'm still on track for getting all the remaining orders out the door by Dec. 1st.

I picked up the last bit of lumber to finish up some odds and ends for boards and stands.

The boards will be wrapped up soon and then I just need to finish stamping character packs to package up with the remaining boards.

It's been a lot easier to manage the shipments working in large batches. You should receive a confirmation email when your package is shipped out.

I'll post the next update in a couple weeks when the last of the orders start heading out.

Thanks all, Erik

Correct that...I think the gantt was provided monthly. Weekly might be overkill.

@Fabian. You're a good guy and glad you have patience. Despite being late the right thing to do is constantly communicate. I would rather have a weekly communication update to discuss what is happening. There was Kickstarter project (comic related) called Remind and the backer provided a gantt chart each week. Yes, sometimes he was late but he indicated that and offered an explanation why. These are just some tools and recommendations I offer up to anyone who is looking to venture into the creator owned space. Best wishes and happy holidays.

No product. I have contacted a person who is pledging to pursue this inability to respond?????? Where are the originators of Kickstarter???

@David. While I feel your pain I'd have a little more patience. Of course he is way late. From what I can tell he is just one guy with an idea. He has to carve all that. I've been on other projects with larger teams that stunt and 1 person teams that have met deadlines. Life gets in the way. Have faith.
Erik, you did promise something by dec 1. Even if your late. Post it. No worries. This project has a lot of manual work to it.

I'm sorry but waiting this long without communications and beyond your proposed deadline you wrote this is unacceptable. Even if you shipped them out on Dec. 1st you should at least create a post. In all honesty, if you don't want to complete your order then you should do the right thing and refund people's hard earned money. We invest in Kickstarter on good faith that creators have done their due diligence and have created a business and project plan for how they will execute the work. I've invested in projects that had creators even call for their investors to help ship if they can. The sad part in all of this is you have a great idea but you've pretty much damaged your credibility if you use Kickstarter again. My advice outside of my rant....if you need help then ask for it.

Soooo, Erik, what's the latest, please? It's the 4th of December and I've not received an email confirming dispatch on the 1st of December for the classroom pack I purchased. This year's class is still keen to use it - it was originally purchased by last year's class, who of course now won't get the benefit of it - and I'd like to be able to give them some positive, confirmed news this year before we slip into the end-of-term break. Thanks very much.

Thanks Erik. I can see your Magnet Comic strip helping stroke patients, people with Aspergers, speech therapy, pediatric rehab. just to name a few (as well as having fun with it).
--It's been a long process for you. Thank you for sticking by and completing it. After everything is out, kickback, relax and enjoy your holidays. Looking forward to receiving mine.

Awesome. I received one of my sets (although it was missing the vinyl sheet, oops). And I am eagerly awaiting my other set with characters drawn by you. Keep up the good work.
