Uncharted coastline, one of a kind wildlife and plant life, spicy foods and unique warm people. Baja is truly the final frontier.
It's unpaved and sometimes non-existent roads are the gateway to uncharted coastline with endless surf exploration. That Journey is what we dream of, and what we live for. We think such passion for travel and surf rings true to many wondering souls. Our goal is to bring that passion for Baja to life in a Bruce Brown-esque "Endless Summer" type film. Help us do what we love, what we are good at, and share our view of Beautiful Baja with the masses.
We are heavily invested in all needed survival equipment and supplies, as well as all camera and recording equipment. Area's we do need help is as follows...
$500 for gas and tolls.
$1000 for common Baja emergency's including,
Truck repairs, this is inevitable when 4x4ing thousands of miles across uncharted desert terrain
The all to common (Mordida) or (Bite). The fee payed to crooked law enforcement and or banditos.
Basic food supplies (water, brown rice, beets, tortillas, beans, quinoa, and of course amazing almond tequila.
Sean and Justin have been friends and travel companions for years now. Our many surf adventures have brought us from the freezing waters of Ireland to tropical storms of Puerto Rico. We have wondered the desert waste lands of the Baja Norte for many years now, getting our selves in and out of danger in hopes of discovering a new wave, new friends or just a new story to tell...
Sean and Justin both live simple lives as artist and surfers in Ocean Beach San Diego. Together they have shot thousands of hours of video, and with Sean's editing skills, have produced several small films. Both have shared the dream to make a film about the journey to the tip of Baja. That's just what we are going to do. We quit our jobs and will be spending a month exploring, fishing, surfing and surviving baja. Can't wait...
Special Thanks to Jessi LeBaron for help filming the interview, and Stephanie Victor for letting Justin come back a few days after her birthday.
