Risks and challenges
The ultimate risk is not being funded to complete the film. That is the biggest risk to any film looking to be made. We have minimized the risks involved in making the film by doing the following:
-Hiring a crew from around the Country with decades of experience in film and television.
-Hired production managers and accountants that will make sure funds are being spent on the production itself and nothing else.
-Location scouted and locked down all locations and individuals needed for interviews. Pre-planning out all shots for locations makes a smooth production schedule.
The main challenge we face is not being funded. We are set to go and know problems will occur as they do on every production but with what we have planned out all issues have been minimized.
Earlier this year we launched a Kickstarter page to raise money for Sultan of Scrape with a very high goal. We did not reach our goal as we set it high to see what our benchmark would be. We are now raising money through Kickstarter to shoot the Documentary for the film itself and believe our goal is attainable.
The risks are much lower on this launch due to it is a much lower goal for a different aspect of the film which is the documentary. With a higher goal more problems may arise that is why we have set it at $15,000. Join Us and help bring Sultan of Scrape to life.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
