About this project
An aging man with legal blindness receives a letter from his granddaughter containing a hand-drawn picture. In an attempt to see the picture the man paints a larger version of what he sees through his magnifying glass onto his living room wall. See more info here.
I really want this film to be the best it can possibly be and to get this film out to festivals, but I need your help to make these changes and to pay entry fees. This film is not quite finished, and could use some polishing before it goes out to festivals. The three major changes I want to make is 1) Tweak some visuals to better grasp his blindness and to make the desk sequence a little more powerful. 2) Get a better color grade of the project for color consistency. 3) If needed reshoot some short elements that better show the man's blindness more accurately. If it makes for a better film overall, 4) the music will be cut and location sounds will be added in to create a more natural atmosphere for the film and to emphasize the man's isolation. 5) If that happens the edit will be trimmed down and tweaked so sections of the film don't drag.
Please join me in the conversation and let me know your thoughts about the film and what kind of changes you might want to see before it goes out to festivals, just send me a message or leave a comment.
Thanks for all your Support!
