My name is Kyle, since i was very little i was introduced to the wonderful world of Board Games. As a teenager i was introduced to TCGs and finally as an adult MWG. i have always dreamt of making my own board game but the market is just to flooded so how would i stand out?, well i decided to mix all 3. right now you be helping pledge get my idea off the ground by hiring someone to make me the actuall first prototype of my game to test run everything before going ahead with full release. Your pledges now will help me obtain a copy of the miniatures, cards and the board. after that a new kickstarter would open and those who backed this original starter wpuld be able to recieve a a premium version of the game and everyone else that backs the new starter would be getting the generic version, although it will still be stunning. right now all i can share is a very very very rough version of my rules and general outline of the game. but with this funding id very quickly be able to bring on the actuall kick starter that would allow me to open up on so mich more than you know. here is the rough cut, have a great day, hope you all get an idea of what im doing and get as excited as i am :)
rough cut of rules.
Game board consists of a circle board and 3 attachments (one on each player side, deployment zone) each player has to choose their army to fight with from a number of collectables made available from the game pack and random blind packs in the future. each trooper has a cost value and no army may exceed the maximum cost per army decided by players to begin with, just like war hammer. cards will also be available to use in the form of quick cast cards which may be used to defend against attacks, boost attacks, etc. at the cost of whatever units are using that cards next turn or deployment points based on what the card says. there is no HP to be used as the winner is last man standing, and no more than 3 units of any army on the field at once(9 max units on the board at once) with a max of 5 units per war, unless otherwise agreed by each player. two pieces per army must enter the battle zone to begin with and each player shall recieve a pre determined set of deployment points per turn, and unless otherwise stated cannot attack on summoning turn, similar to most TCGs. each player will.have a deck of no more than 15 ability cards and no less than 10. no more to be in a players hand than 2 at any time. cards can be discarded to redraw from their deck, however discarded cards will be removed from play. when a unit is to be deployed, the player must place the unit in the deployment area, denoted by the text on the board, no more than one unit in the deployment area at any time and unit must leave deployment area by second turn of being deployed. in the battle zone fighting is determined by line of sight of your unit denoted by the viewing angle on the base of the figurine. each unit has unique attacks and can be found on the character card used to signify what attributes that unit is using in this battle, multiple character cards will exist for every unit as to add to strategic gameplay but cannot be changed onced assigned per war(battle) even if resurrected. each Character will determine the health abilities and attcks of the corresponding unit and which role must only be chosen upon the units deployment. Rare version of a units Role cards can be aquired through blind booster packs. once on the battle zone each unit has 3 standard phases, Move, Attack, triggered abilities. these are extra steps used if an ability has been triggered which is determined by the units role card. once a unit starts it phase it must complete its phases before you can use your next unit. once a unit has ended its phase it cannot move till the next round. there will be am undetermined amount of factions to the game and each army must consist only of that faction, unless otherwise agreed by all players. the base package of the game consists of basic game board (premium.boards available) Measuring tape Line of sight diagram measuring tool. 5 rage faction units with character cards, 5 devine faction units with character cards, 5 man kind faction units with character cards, 1 blind booster pack, 1 blind unit for each of the factions with the starter kit. to be noted is that the blind booster packs are 10 random mix of character role cards and ability cards/quick cast cards and blind unit packs are a blind pack containing 2 units for a single faction with 2 random role cards for those specific units. a units attck eill be judges by its distance from its target ( board will have a measuring system on it) and the units line of sight, if the unit cannot move to a place in which it can see the target especially if ranged then unit may not attack its target. line of sight is determined by the cone of visibility on the base of the unit. the use of a measuring tape to judge distance is required and the line of sight determined by player judgement and the included plactic LOS diagram , if a disagreement occurs then a decision xa2n be made by 3rd player or if only 2 players then the decision with be made by a system such as rolling for it or flipping a coin. the box will come with a line of sight indicator plastic diagram and replacements made available for sale.
