The Doorlock will blink Red and Blue to indicate the battery capacity is below 30% to give you ample time to change out the batteries. Furthermore, the battery life can be checked by opening up the settings cog in 'thequicklock' app in the respective iOS and Android stores.

RFID accessories available:
The Quicklock uses ISO15693 at 13.56Mhz for the tags and reader. These are industry standard tags, but they are not the most common type of RF chip technology available. We suggest purchasing all RF/NFC accessories from TheQuicklock.com website as these tags and rings work seamlessly with our line of products.
Programming a new RF/NFC tag is a snap! Use the current programmed RF tag to open The Doorlock by pressing the black button on the front of The Doorlock and waving the programmed tag over the black area. Turn the handle once the green light appears. Once open, immediately push the black button once and "wave" the new RF/NFC tag over the black area. The new RF/NFC tag can now be used to open The Doorlock.
Currently iPhone and Android smartphones have NFC "Reading" capabilities but cannot emulate a NFC tag. Our understanding is that the technology is within the smartphone but the protocol has not been opened. We will post any updates on our website in the future.
