Casting and VFX

Dear donors,

Thank you so much for being a part of our project, and showing your support for our little Sci-fi film.

And now comes the fun part. You get to just sit back, relax, and enjoy, as we show you what we've been up to since hitting the kickstarter goal.

WE HAVE AN ACTOR

So we're absolutely ecstatic to have our first performer come on board the project. He's a terrific actor, an incredibly nice person, and is no stranger to the Sci-fi genre.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we're pleased to welcome -- MR. JACK COLEMAN! He'll be portraying the character of RANCE WOFFORD, the old man's son who's torn between the joy of welcoming his mother into the world, and the eventual loss of his 7-year old daughter.

You might know him as Noah Bennett (aka HRG) from HEROES, or The Senator from THE OFFICE, or perhaps even as Bill Forbes on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES

Needless to say, we're very happy to have him be part of our film.

WE HAVE VFX WIZARDS

Since our last update, the director and producers have been working tirelessly on trying to find the best possible people to fill the key positions. In a sci-fi movie of any kind, the world generation becomes one of the most pivotal points, and thus, requires incredible VFX artists.

So, we're enthralled to announce two absolute VFX-geniuses - Maxx Burman and Jon Chesson! Here is the last short they did the VFX for (Portal: No Escape) --

WHAT'S NEXT?

We're continuing the casting process. In addition, the director and producer are out scouting locations, and adding to the crew. Stay tuned for more developments over the next couple of weeks.

Once again, thank you for your support.
