The Richmond Pinball Collective is committed to setting up a permanent space for all of us to come together and enjoy pinball. Your financial support can make this a reality! Our space will house approximately 20 well-maintained machines that will be donated from private collectors. We will have a variety of options for everyone to gain access to our awesome pinball clubhouse, including flat rate play and memberships. Additionally, we will host tournaments, leagues, educational seminars, private parties, and more.
While we are excited about our vision, we won’t do this without your help. It’s important to us that we know the love of pinball and arcades is strong enough in Richmond to support our endeavor. We have devised an in-depth plan of action to create this space, down to the last dollar we will need and how we will spend it. In a nutshell, if we can raise enough money to cover six months of expenses to get the location up and running, it will then maintain itself...and this dream will become a reality.
This is an exciting time to start a classic arcade, a time when more and more pinball machines are being produced each year, and more tournaments are being organized across the country. Risks and challenges
Once the start-up capital is raised the first challenge will be finding a cool space that is accessible but doesn't break the bank.
The second challenge is coming up with a business model that will sustain the collective for years to come. Initially our plan is to fund the collective through a combination of monthly memberships, private parties, public open times and public events. Public events will be events like Arcade Night, Collective pinball parties, and regular tournaments.
