NEW REWARDS!!! YAAAAAAS!
Introducing three new rewards for all you beautiful people. I know, I know. And you're welcome. COOKIE PRINTS, people. C O O K I E P R I N T S !
What is Sogi's Honey Bakeshop?
Established in the fluttering imagination of a starving artist, this little cookie factory has manifested its magic into the hands of patrons hungry for all things sugary and pretty. Each cookie is crafted with a caring hand, from its humble buttered beginning to the finishing stroke of a brush. Turning dreams into frosted paintings, Sogi’s Honey Bakeshop says it sweeter.
...And funnier. You saw the *real* Kickstarter video above. Here are the bloopers.
No, but seriously. What is this Sogi thing all about?
Sogi's Honey Bakeshop is a woman, some paintbrushes, and a whole lot of sugar and butter.
Owner and creator, Sogoal Zolghadri--more lovingly known as "Sogi," by family, friends, and local Starbucks baristas--is classically trained and practiced in both fine art and pastry decor. In 2010, she brought the two worlds together to create what is now a custom cookie confectionary: baked from scratch, hand painted, and delivered to doorsteps across the country.
Sogi has completed countless orders of cookies, from friends' weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events -- she even made an order of 300 custom cookies for Martha Stewart! (That was a doozy.)
What is this Kickstarter campaign for?
This year, Sogi's dream of growing the bakeshop and making cookies for everyone has begun taking baby steps towards a promising future, receiving applause from the likes of Martha Stewart Weddings, Free People, and Nastygal. Neat!
However, Sogi's Honey Bakeshop is still a one-woman show--in a 5'x5' kitchen with a struggling little mixer and counter space all too limited. Showtime begins after her 9-6 day gig and usually involves really bad, loud music. As fun as it sounds, the bakeshop would be even better with a little bit more dancing room.
But in order to keep growing, Sogi needs a bigger kitchen and the funding to sustain it. As of late, she's had to turn down orders due to limited space and materials.
So now she's turning to Kickstarter -- turning to you -- for a chance to grow Sogi's Honey Bakeshop.
If Sogi can raise the money in this Kickstarter project, she'll be able to rent out commercial kitchen space and then do what she's always wanted to do: make custom cookies for everyone!
This sounds crazy cool. But tell me more about the cookies.
They're not just beautiful, they're delicious. Every batch is made entirely from scratch using simple, natural ingredients. Topped with classic royal icing, each cookie is then painted with food coloring and water (with the tiniest paintbrushes you've ever seen!)

Risks and challenges
Sogi's Honey Bakeshop is looking to stretch its legs into a bigger kitchen, but I'm still only one Sogi. While I wish I could crank cookies out by the seconds (boy do I), I've spaced out the rewards' dates of delivery by rough estimation of design, production, and shipment. I'm risking my dreams and facing unknown challenges but if your dreams don't scare you, they just aren't big enough. AmIright?Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
