About this project
Since our launch in March of 2009, Rock Me! has received some amazing press and accolades, most recently (October 2012) was a personal endorsement from Sara Blakely, creator and CEO of Spanx. http://www.spanx.com/category/index.jsp?categoryId=4016068.
You see, our collection of one-piece outfits is completely different from anything on the market today. What appears to be separate pieces is actually all one piece that is free of buttons and snaps! Each garment features a cleverly hidden opening in the back (similar to a pillow sham) that allows you to slip the garment over the baby's head and then simply guide their legs through the pant or bloomer legs. Below is a clip from the Today Show that explains/shows the unique functionality of our collection.
The love we've received from the press, for our tiny collection with sizes ranging from only 0 to 24 months, has translated into steady sales growth and distribution. It has also fueled our desire to grow our company. That's where you come in.
With YOUR support we can expand our collection to include larger sizes and continue to wardrobe the same children we began outfitting as infants. This will also allow us to continue our philanthropical endeavors with Kids In Distressed Situations. http://www.kidsdonations.org/home.php.
We intend to use funding for the following expenses:
* Development of new patterns and prototypes.
* Sales samples
* Purchasing Textiles
* Trade show expenses
* sales and marketing materials
* Production costs
Risks and challenges
Our primary risks and challenges are production delays. To date, we have only faced one delay due to a snowstorm that caused an electrical outage. Luckily for us, all of our manufacturing takes place in the United States so once goods are finished they arrive to our warehouse very quickly.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
