WHAT IS THE BULLHORN GANG?
The Bullhorn Gang is a 6 issue comic book miniseries. This Kickstarter project will help fund issue #1.
Jack, Jessica and Chris go from being three unknown and misunderstood Hollywood hopefuls to becoming the most famous bank robbers in America.
What begins as a confrontation between Jack and a bank teller over an overdraft fee leads to bank robbery and an unprecedented crime spree throughout Los Angeles county. Outraged by Wall Street and big banks, Jack leads Jessica and Chris on a string of high profile bank robberies. What makes their crime spree unique is that they only pocket some of the cash and the rest they toss onto the streets of Los Angeles. This street level "redistribution" of money causes chaos and generates a growing Bullhorn Gang fan base. Added to this they videotape and upload each bank robbery to their YouTube channel and share every moment with their twitter followers.
After three bank robbery videos, and the murder of a police officer, their notoriety skyrockets. Their videos generate millions of views online and their twitter account grows to 500,000 followers. Both the public and law enforcement officially recognize them as the "Bullhorn Gang."
The Bullhorn Gang's crime spree takes an unexpected turn when a shady television executive repackages their videos into a primetime television series. The television executive successfully exploits the Bullhorn Gang's online success to create a popular television show that twists the truth and sensationalizes the Bullhorn Gang. This enrages Jack and he vows to ruin the show and kill the television executive. Jack's obsession with exacting revenge on the television executive ultimately leads to the downfall of the Bullhorn Gang and results in the shocking, unexpected end to their crime spree.
IF THE BULLHORN GANG ISSUE #1 IS FUNDED, WHAT WILL THE MONEY BE USED FOR?
If the Bullhorn Gang Issue #1 is successfully funded the money will primarily be used to pay the artists. As the creator and writer of the Bullhorn Gang it is very important to me that the artists get paid a professional rate. Julia Krase is the penciler and colorist and Angela Fernot is the inker. Both are recent graduates of the Kubert School and are devoted to a professional career in comic book illustration. Additional money will be spent on creating and shipping the incentives to our backers, plus printing the initial run of print copies.
WHAT ARE THE BULLHORN GANG INCENTIVES?
We have some cool incentives that are representative of the Bullhorn Gang without the blatant attempt at branding. Even if you decide you don't like the Bullhorn Gang you can still wear a cool "Jack's Bullhorn" t-shirt or slap a "Miss Pink" sticker on your laptop!
Incentives are expected to ship in January 2013 with the exception of both print and digital copies of the Bullhorn Gang Issue #1. Expected shipping date for issue #1 is March 2013.
Shirts come in men's or women's small, medium or large. After you pledge we will contact you to confirm your size.

Risks and challenges
Our greatest challenge is completing the artwork before our April 2013 launch date. I feel very confident we'll meet this deadline. The writing is complete and artist Julia Krase is more than capable of completing excellent artwork on schedule. Julia is a graduate of The Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphic Design. You can learn more about Julia and view her artwork by visiting www.juliakrase.com.
The Bullhorn Gang will be my first attempt at producing a comic book. I have been writing for most of my life and have been a successful designer for over 10 years. I've completed several large scale design projects during my career and feel confident I will successfully complete not only issue #1 of the Bullhorn Gang, but the entire 6 issue series.
