About this project
Contrary to what we have been taught, there is overwhelming evidence linking diet and nutrition to health. In the documentary Rawvolutionaries, we go in search of the truth.
The health of the U.S. population is in the toilet. There are obese children, young adults with cardiovascular problems, and more of our parents are suffering from cancer and diabetes. In communities of color the rates are even scarier. A recent UN report encourages people to adopt a vegan diet to stop the climate change and environmental problems associated with meat and dairy production. Live Vegan foods are better for your health and eco-friendly.
The live food diet consists of uncooked fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. We include lots of salads, smoothies, fresh vegetable and fruit juices. We use techniques such as blending, juicing, dehydrating, and spiralizing to create an array of tasty treats. Preparing our food this way leaves enzymes and nutrients in tact, many of which are lost during cooking. Live food has been effective in treating cancer, heart conditions, diabetes and many other health concerns plaguing our communities.
Come on an international raw food adventure and meet real Rawvolutionaries who are promoting healing, fitness, and sustainability in the community. The money raised on Kickstarter will be used to purchase video equipment and for travel expenses to film on location between Jamaica, Trinidad, and NYC.
