PDF is live!
Modern life is very interesting. On the one hand, the internet makes possible collaboration with a group of people around the world. On the other hand, that global collaboration can take some time when we're dealing with time zones.
Case in point, our layout person is in England. I'm in Maine, five hours behind him. Other members of the team are in the midwest or even on the west coast of the US. It can be difficult to get things pushed through as quickly as we would like when somebody in Oregon has revisions that need to be factored into the book, but they send it off while the layout guy is in bed. Sure, he gets to it when he gets up (in the early AM Eastern time), but we have to wait for the west coast to get a chance to look at it for final approvals...
What I'm saying is, sorry for the extra couple of days. All of that aside, the official ED4 Player's Gudie (PDF version) is live. Here's a direct link to the product page in our web shop.
For backers, if you have registered an account on our web store, you should be getting an email in the next 24-48 hours with a coupon code that will give 100% off the price of the PDF. If you have not yet created an account on our web store, you will need to do so in order to get the PDF. Some have expressed concerns with regard to registration on our shop, and we are addressing them -- it's just going to take us an extra couple of days.
The dead-tree version of the book will be going out to the printer later this week, and we expect it to be back in March, with fulfillment to backers starting as soon as it is in (our printer is in the U.S.).
If you are following this to see when the books go live because you missed the campaign, dead-tree pre-orders and PDF/Print bundle options are planned for our store, and will likely be up before too much longer, so be patient, and keep an eye on our website or social media (Facebook, etc) for more details.
Thank you all for your patience as we hammered this one out. Back to work on the GM Guide for me!
