Aura Air is IoT compatible and connects seamlessly with your other smart devices, so you can ask Alexa, and Google all sorts of questions about your home’s air status. Or tell your A/C to turn on when your home hits a humidity level. Or set your home to shut off the gas if high levels are detected.
We've integrated BreezoMeter, so you can quickly and easily monitor outdoor air data and pollution levels. You can even get actionable recommendations based on the current pollution level.
Aura Air’s algorithms consider outdoor air quality, your geo-location, recent air patterns, and other variables to provide an accurate representation of your indoor air quality, trusted by scientists worldwide.
Fires and gas leaks have subtle but unique chemical characteristics that Aura Air scans identifies and notifies you to address imminent dangers before they become a threat.
After detecting and analyzing your air’s properties, Aura Air purifies your air of harmful pollutants and toxins. A thorough in-depth cleaning of every square inch while maintaining the gentle homeostasis of a home’s balanced air.
Some symptoms of a poor air quality environment are so prevalent that we’ve all flocked to cures and treatments instead of addressing the root cause - toxic air environments.
According to the WHO (world health organization) 93% of children under the age of 15 breath dangerously polluted air. The most dangerous pollutant for children is particular matter smaller than 2.5 µicrons (PM2.5). Indoor air pollution in homes that use polluting fuels for cooking, heating and lighting is especially dangerous to newborns and young children that spend most of there time on the ground where the concentrations of pollutants are the highest. Overall air pollution can causes asthma children cancer and effects cognitive abilities in young children. (1)
This study looked at the affect of wood-heating systems at residents and their affect on indoor air pollution. They found that these systems are a significant cause of indoor air pollution because they release particulate matter to the air (PM2.5 and P.M10) which can cause asthma and cancer over long periods of exposure. The cleaning process of these systems (ash removal) is the most hazardous and releases the highest concentrations of particulate matter and also high concentrations of Cupper and Mangan. (2)
This study found that mothers that were exposed to air pollution in the month before the conception and afterward- their fetuses were more likely to have a birth defect associated to abdominal malformations. Other risks to fetuses as a result of air pollution include risk of premature birth and low birth weight. (3)
This study, conducted by NASA, looked at the ability of home plants to treated VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) in indoor environment. They found out that there are several plants, like dracaena and bromeliad plant, that can treat up to 12 different VOC’s such as acetone and toluene and improve the air quality inside residents. (4)
This study, conducted by the NIH, is trying to improve indoor air quality by using air purifiers in residents and in schools and by reducing allergies in school using special pest control strategies. The researches believe that improving the indoor air quality can help to students and adults with respiratory problems to feel better and that all students can achieve better grades at school when improving the indoor air quality. Air duct cleaning is a rising concern in terms of indoor air pollution. In this article, the EPA recommends to inspect the air ducts for mold and dust, especially if there are people with allergies living in the house. If there is mold on the air ducts or there are people that suffer from allergies, it is recommended to clean the air ducts because they are another source of particulate matter. Otherwise there is no necessity to clean the air ducts.(6)

Risks and challenges
While there are always risks & challenges with creating and delivering a brand new product, we've minimized both by having the entire process, from production to delivery, already set and arranged.
We have already signed agreements with key suppliers and manufacturers, and our prototype has been finalized. In the last three years, our efforts have been focused on developing the smartest, most effective, well-designed total air purification system for home use.
All of this, along with our strategic partnerships with experienced crowdfunding and fulfillment experts, leaves little room for error and ensures a very quick delivery.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
