Something New, Exciting, Sexy and Fun!
Giftwrap Lingerie™ is a lingerie product made from wrapping paper and it has been designed to be worn only once. This elegant product is made from a paper stock that is a tad heavier than traditional wrapping paper and it is cinched in the rear with gorgeous ribbon. Our initial product design is a classic corset style and is sexy, comfortable to wear (until it gets ripped off), and makes that GREAT giftwrap sound. Our market research concluded that if a man is given a choice between a new shirt or the woman of his dreams, he will always choose the woman. Giftwrap Lingerie™ was designed to spice up intimacy around the world. It is a perfect anniversary gift (the first wedding anniversary is the “paper anniversary”), but is also great for birthdays, Christmas, Valentines’ day….or just because!!! Each product will be fully assembled and be ready to wear out of the exquisite box it is delivered in.
Paper Patterns
At the end of the campaign you will receive a backer survey where you will be asked to choose your preferred paper pattern. To assist you in your choice we will provide you a link that will show you the final paper patterns available. The anticipated patterns are shown below and if we hit our stretch goals we will be adding more. The final paper patterns may vary based on our paper supplier and printing capabilities.
Sizing
Giftwrap Lingerie™ has been designed with tremendous flexibility. The forgiving “V” front coupled with a reinforforced open back that cinches with beautiful ribbon makes the product adjustable, easy to put on, and one-size-fits-many. We are offering two sizes, Slender and Standard, so that the product can be comfortably worn by most women. The Slender model has been designed for women with a bust measurement up to 36” and a cup size up to a “B”. The Standard model has been designed for a bust measurement of 36” and up and a cup size of “C” or larger. In the backer survey we will include a detailed size chart to help with the proper size selection.
Rewards and Stretch Goals
Our reward system is very simple. If you support our initiative to get this unique product to the market, you can be one of the first to receive it and try it out. We will make sure all Kickstarter backer pledges are fulfilled at each reward level before delivering on any new orders. For example, if you pledge in the “The Christmas Present” reward level we will make sure your reward will be honored before taking on additional holiday season orders. This is important for a product that has limited production capability.
Our stretch goals are simple as well. If certain milestones are hit we will add additional paper patterns you can choose from. The first milestone level will be $100,000 and subsequent milestone levels will be announced during the campaign and after discussions with our paper suppliers and printing companies.
Shipping
The packaging needs to deliver a product in perfect condition. The current packaging is a beautiful box with dimensions 7”x19”x11”. As a result, the shipping costs are a little higher than we expected. Our goal is to break even on packaging and shipping costs, therefore if we are able to reduce the packaging size or there is a large number of supporters and can negotiate lower shipping rates we will pass these savings along. At the end of the campaign you will receive a backer survey where you will be asked to provide all relevant shipping information.
Returns
Since these products are designed to be worn only once and in an intimate setting we will not be accepting returns. However, if there ever is a problem with the quality of workmanship please contact us and we will work to rectify the problem.

We didn't make our goal, in fact, we didn't even come close. But I want to thank all the people who visited our site and made a pledge and tell you that we will try again after we alter the design to make the packaging more economical. Risiken und Herausforderungen
At Wrapped Genius LLC we are committed to producing a beautiful product that performs as expected. Even though the product is designed to be worn only once we are highly focused on producing a product that a woman feels is both comfortable and sexy. To date, all the prototypes and the limited production run needed to do test marketing of the product have been produced on laser cutters. Our biggest challenges will come as we move to a large quantity production process on die cutting machinery. While the product assembly process will remain largely the same, quality control will be critical as this process ramps up. The last large foreseeable risk is packaging. The packaging needs to be as small as possible without causing wrinkles, tears, or any crushing of the finished product. We are working with experts to design appropriate packaging which delivers a beautiful product in the most cost efficient manner.
