A Phoenix Feast For Your Eyes!
The waiting period has settled in with Tsuro: Phoenix Rising, when things go a bit quiet and final development and production take place. We probably won't send lots of updates until we get close to production winding down, but that's only because it gets boring to keep saying "Things are going smoothly; nothing to report; the project is on track!" But just to let you know the current status:
Things are going smoothly; nothing to report; the project is on track!
However, we did want to interrupt your regularly scheduled programming to send a few images of some samples of the molded miniature pieces we received from the factory. These are not in the final color or material, but are used to approve the molds and check the size, proportions, etc. Also, they are SUPER AWESOME!!
Check it out:
You want to see movement? Of course you do!
What do you think? Pretty, right?? We are really happy with how these turned out, and they work incredibly well on the board.
Additionally, we are working on finalizing the rules with example images and getting them translated into non-English languages. Andy has rolled up his sleeves and gotten to work on the art book, and we are reaching out to almost a dozen people who have been involved in the art and development of Tsuro through the years to include them in the book.
The CrowdOx survey is also in the works. We anticipate sending that in the next 45 days, and the next update from us will probably be about that process.
Thanks again to everyone for being a part of this project.
Talk to you soon!
