Day 7 - Thank you! We Are Funded 144%

What a CRAZY day!!! Thank you Wil Wheaton, all you Wil Wheaton fans, and everyone who pledged to make this happen! You are making this dream come to life ":^{D>

We ended up spending a large portion of the day thinking about stretch goals. I received a good number of requests for game tiles…alternate wake tiles and more daikaiju; I love the idea, but I want to make sure it’s really cool! And that my friends is what we are going to do!

We explored a number of great tile ideas today… and we’ll play them all in the upcoming days. I’ve invited some of the best game designers I know to participate in flushing these tiles out. We are all in for a blast! I can’t wait to share…

So, I think I’ll leave you with this photo of our Master Miniatures Painter, Chris Hart, working on the Emperors Fleet “:^{D>

Please keep up the momentum!

Well, it was worth a shot. Again, thanks for responding to my silly questions, and generally for being awesome.

      Hi Brian : )

There are no identifying marks on the tiles. Sorry.

Okay, saw the answer. you mentioned 'duplicate tiles'. I presume this means duplicate patterns? If you haven't already sent designs to the printers, would it be possible to add a specific koi fish to the corner of the duplicate tiles, or the tiles to play Tsuro with?
Grid size change and starting marks are both problems easily conquered. But if I read that like I'm hoping I didn't, I don't want to have to examine each tile's wake patterns and compare them to the rest and sort out the copies.
Sorting out the daikaiju and tiles that are easily (visually) different rather than comparing the pattern designs would be ideal, but I understand this may not be possible. Thank you for answering! It may not come across with all these questions/requests, but I'm VERY excited to be able to play a new version!

Brian, I replied to your question in the FAQ located at the bottom of the home page.

Will it be possible to play TotSeas as original Tsuro? I guess what I'm asking is if there will be enough path tiles to fill up the board without the daikaiju '"interfering".
My friends and I love Tsuro, and I want to be able to carry both game styles, without carrying both boxes over to board game night parties. (I realize the art will be different, but they should have the same mechanical ability)
If this could be possible, even just as a stretch goal, I know my friends and I -and hopefully some of the other 300+ backers- would be appreciative!
