As a senior in Virginia Commonwealth University's Department of Dance and Choreography, the capstone experience encompasses a final piece choreographed by each senior. This process begins with a written concept proposal and is developed into a full choreographic production to be presented upon the stage of Richmond's Grace Street Theater.
To make these final projects possible, the students must supply their own costumes as well as any additional theatrical elements needed for their ideas come to life. We graciously ask for your help in funding the costuming for our creative work. Any minor or major contributions are wonderfully appreciated.
VCU Dance Fall Senior Projects 2013: Ergo Sum, will be performed at Grace Street Theater in Richmond, VA from November 20th-23rd.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
In a rigorous creative program, the challenge of balancing school and work is ongoing. It is nearly impossible for us, as students, to have financially supportive jobs while staying committed to our artistic endeavors. Therefore, we need as much financial support as possible.
