All enemies and towers as well as shooting and explosion effects are placeholders and will be replaced with much betters ones, pictures below of work in progress models to replace placeholders.
We didn't want to bring just some concept art or idea's of a different type of tower defense game, we wanted to show you a different tower defense game try our Kickstarter early alpha PC demo here.

Currently the game is in a early alpha state, all major game mechanics are in place with only a few features not finished, we also need to finish our enemies and tower models.
With your help we will be able to work full time on the project and add more feature and more polish as well as finish in a much shorter time frame.

About the team
Trevor Michael
I have worked in the electronic security industry for over 16 years as my day job, working with hardware and software.
I have loved computers and games all of my life and knew a long time ago I wanted to make video games and over 3 years ago I started working on a true indie startup called 4Nocturnals.
Started putting 4Nocturnals together a little over 3 years ago, and over 2 years ago we started working on Defending Humanity, we love tower defense games and felt a 3D alien world would be the perfect setting. Add in FPS mode as well as dynamic weather and day/night cycles, it makes a game that looks great and is a lot of fun, a challenge on hard difficulty, it will be very tough to beat with 10 lives and we love that challenge, we will also have easy and normal difficulty.
I recruited my 2 brothers and my best friend who have been life long gamers, to work on the project without pay until the game hopefully makes money at launch. Your donations help a true indie startup make their indie game as good as it can be. Thank you very much for spreading the word and helping Defending Humanity.

Risks and challenges
With all software ETA's can be missed for a lot of reasons, while part time we will put in as many hours as we can. We started this part time and not paid, funding or not we will finish Defending Humanity it will just take longer doing so part time but rest assured this game will finish.
But with your support we can finish in shorter time and with more of everything.
