The Legend of Everett Forge: Issue #1 Fire and Brimstone
In this Weird West/Steampunk adventure, the outlaw, Everett Forge, ventures deep into a Machine-controlled West in search of vengeance.
My name is Scott Wilke, I'm the writer/creator of The Legend of Everett Forge.
The story for The Legend of Everett Forge has been brewing in my head for almost a decade now. It is stems from my passion for old western films, my love of robots, and my obsession with the Weird West and Steampunk genre.
It's been a dream of mine to bring this story to life. Thanks to the amazing art team at ClickArt Studios, I finally have the opportunity to do so. But I need help...and that's where you fine people come in!
Amazing artwork, like the examples below, comes at a price. So does publishing! And that is exactly where all the funds obtained through Kickstarter will go. Anything obtained over the goal will go straight back to ClickArt Studios so we can begin on Issue #2! We'll also create some extra merchandise as a thank you!
The Legend of Everett Forge is a Weird West/Steampunk Adventure, set in an 1889 American West where Machines are in control. The story follows notorious outlaw, Everett Forge, as he wages war against the Machine that betrayed him, the Machine that runs the West...Omega.
Forge's search for vengeance will take him deep into the Machine Territory, further than any human has ever gone before. With a growing bounty on his head and enemies around every corner, Forge's skill and resolve will be put to the test. Especially, when he encounters a ruthless bounty hunter with a terrifying moniker and a mysterious past.
As Forge ventures deeper into the Machine Territory, he will find some pretty unlikely allies. He’ll also discover that there is a lot more at stake than just revenge.
All the while, deep in the heart of the Machine Territory, a terrifying secret awaits…
What secret is that?
You'll have to read to find out!
WHAT TO EXPECT

FORGE'S STEAM TRIKE CONCEPT ART
Every hero needs a faithful steed!
This here is a Steam Trike. It has a bifurcating front fork which allows it to transform into a four-wheeled vehicle which can hook onto railroad tracks. Definitely comes in handy for those long rides!
Here are a few sample pages plucked straight from Issue #1. ClickArt Studios has really managed to add vibrancy and life to this world. I look forward to seeing what they still have in store for us!
I definitely want to make sure I thank everyone for helping make my dream come true, that's why I've included some fun and unique rewards. Every tier will get a Legend of Everett Forge Backstage Pass. This monthly newsletter will have production notes, show samples of completed pages, and offer fun contests and giveaways.
The upper tiers will include not only a print copy of the comic, but also limited edition merchandise that will be discontinued after the Kickstarter campaign is completed. This includes pens, playing cards, t-shirts, and more!
Our top two highest reward tiers offer an amazing chance at finding yourself within the pages of The Legend of Everett Forge. These are extremely limited though, so act fast before they're gone!
MORE ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Wisconsin. After high school, I moved to Missouri where I attended college at Southeast Missouri State University. I majored in English and minored in Film Production. After graduation, I moved to Arizona where I currently reside with my lovely wife and beautiful daughter.
Storytelling has always been a passion of mine. I remember when I was young and my mom would tuck me in, I would tell her the bedtime story. She would always tell me how great my stories were. Now, it's possible she was blinded by mom goggles at the time, but regardless, I promised her, all those years ago, that one day I would get one of my stories published. I plan to live up to that promise.
