Thanks, everyone! We've reached the target, and now we've added some stretch goals to keep the ball rolling.
$1,500 UNLOCKED! - We will send a 12-card expansion deck of topics to all backers of $20 or more! (All backers get the PDF updates via email.) New bonus topics that are not available in any of the first three volumes for some added conversational utility.
$1,800 UNLOCKED! - Ditch the clear plastic case. Every deck will now come inside a cozy, custom tuck box decorated with the same beautiful coffee bean design. Make transporting your cards sure and secure.
$2,200 UNLOCKED! - We make a new 12-card expansion deck for each quarter of 2016. Backers of $20 and up enjoy fresh deliveries of topics for the next 15 months. (All backers get the PDF updates via email.) Perfect for spicing up those Lean Coffee meetups.
$2,700 UNLOCKED! - This is a good one! I'm developing a special deck of coaching tips and handy illustrations for all backers of $20 and up. If you've ever wanted to know what Conway's Law is or the difference between Tuckman's stages of group development and the Drexler-Sibbet Team Performance Model, this is the deck for you.
$3,400 UNLOCKED! - The Agile Coffee Cards app! This is the goal we're aiming for now, an application for users to take on the go, inspiring a conversations and self study wherever life takes them! We've been planning it for a while so we're looking forward to getting it made.
What is Lean Coffee?
Lean Coffee is a tremendous method for introducing and talking about topics related to Agile and Scrum. It's casual and fun, and the agenda is driven 100% by the participants. Sessions can be held in the workplace or around the community where coaches, scrum masters, and others gather to learn and share their experiences with Agile practices.

Why a deck?
I've found that getting a lean coffee group off the ground isn't always easy. Like anything else, people need motivation to start. These card decks provide that motivation. When we have a deck in our hands, we're more inclined to play. (Plus, the instructions and sample usage cards take the guesswork out of getting started.)
The pre-printed topic cards also help with writer's block. Whether you're new to Scrum/Agile or you're a seasoned lean coffee vet, it's useful to have ideas and options literally on the table in front of you. And if you're in Toastmasters, this should belong in your supplies box.
Another benefit to these three volumes relates to the method of play. Rather than adhering to the traditional lean coffee format, groups can make up their own rules about how to select a topic (eg. random draw, table topics). And that's just the beginning. What game modifications can you add?
Making Lean Coffee better
Both of the first two decks (ACCS vol.1 & vol.2) have 46 of the most popular topics and questions from every one of my Agile Coffee meetups and podcasts. For over three years, I've been saving and indexing all topic cards written by participants, and the cards in these decks are truly the best of the best.

Still, we recognize that people have unique needs, and so we've included five blank cards in both decks so that players can write their own questions. The smooth finish (aqueous coating) of the 300 GSM* casino-quality card-stock allows us to use dry-erase markers to write and erase topics from these cards. It comes in handy for dot-voting as well. (A set of three markers comes included with each reward of one or more decks.)

As a fun incentive to sponsors, we've set aside volume three for topics from you. The first 49 sponsors at this level will have their own question / topic printed on a card (along with their name and/or twitter handle) and included in the final deck of the Agile Coffee Conversation Starter series.

All three decks in the series come with the same instructions and are identified by the beautiful coffee bean design on the card backs. Each deck has a slightly different color back (from "café au lait" to "dark roast") to distinguish them from each other, and all come in a sturdy, clear case.

Thanks for checking out this project. Please share this with your friends & co-workers and get the conversations started.
* GSM = ‘Grams per Square Meter’. The higher the GSM, the heavier the paper.
Risks and challenges
The risks preventing fulfillment are virtually non-existent.
Decks of volumes one and two are ready to be printed. They're laid out, assembled and proofed. We've already had a small batch printed.
Volume three awaits only topics from you - the sponsors. If fewer than the available 49 cards of this deck get treated by sponsors, I plan to solicit agilists from my worldwide network to contribute questions. (Plus, I've got plenty of other topics that would fit in just fine.)
The printer seems very reputable, and I've already created two successful orders. If catastrophe strikes, there are many alternative printers to use.
