@Creator, I really want this product! I'd recommend advertising towards colleges as well, as it might help get you to your goal. I study after work at the moment and would find it extremely helpful as would alot of students. I hope you get your goal!
What size phone will this support? Looks like it will work on a smaller phone, but what about phablets? The problem with projects like this is that they don't last very long because of ever changing phone dimensions.
@ Brian - we do not wish to lock the phone for days or weeks. Kitchensafe is about not eating cookies when you are craving for it. Although the mechanic is similar, we did not know about it until we were already producing DistractaGone. Kitchensafe isn't portable, is expensive and is intended for food.
How about a small porthole in the box? Yes, I want to lock up my phone so that I don't waste time with it while I am working on other projects, but I'd like it to come out of the box fully charged and ready to go. I'd like a port that I can run a charging cable through so that the phone can charge while it's in time out.
I only ask because I know there is a decent market for something that can lock for multiple days or even weeks. Adding a feature for up to 3 digit days would drastically make this product different from anything pre-existing and open up the market a bit. I dont mean to be rude about it but I personally would love to have a product with a "Day" setting up to 3 digits
