Welcome to the OutReach Kickstarter!
My name is Bair and I am the lead artist at Mind Factory Studios. When we aren't hunting for random zombies to slay or sipping wine reminiscing about old video games like sirs, we are in a garage building games we think are fun and want to play.
OutReach is one such game. It is an action launching game with an intense story and addictive game play like no other for iOS devices. Well, at least we want it to be and that's why we are here! We are working very hard on OutReach but as fate would have it, we require a few things to really finish the game and make it available for all to try!
Why are we here?
I'm glad you asked kind Sir/Madam! What we want to do is raise enough money to cover some of our expenses, purchases more licenses and keep our small but awesome and completely overpowered company running and maybe, just maybe, buy some lunch for our team of four. As well as fund our ability to create super long run on sentences.
We want to release OutReach on iOS devices as a "fremium" game. This means it will be free to download and the first few stages will be free to play but if you want to play the other stages and learn what happens to Dex you will have to purchase the rest of the game. For all of you amazing Pledges of $5 dollars or more, you will receive the full game as a digital download for PC.
How far along are we?We already have most of the code written for the game as our programmer is insane and only controls his desire to rampage in his community by typing away on his keyboard. Trust me, it is crucial that he continues doing this.
Also the art is on its way and much has been accomplished as our artists are busy playing Dota 2 and Magic, oh, uh, I mean... Painting their hearts out!
We plan to have the game finished in the next few weeks and are shooting for an April release. Those that have pledged $5 or more will receive a copy of OutReach digitally that is fully unlocked and playable.
Are you ready to help contact Dex? We need your support to build a massive communications radar that should allow us to send him a message. For every $500 we receive in pledges we will reveal a special part of this comm radar for you to see the progress.

OutReach is a launching game where the player must control the cannon's angle and firing power to launch a robot through the air. The objective is to travel the furthest distance with a single shot and find humanity. There will be many obstacles that can hinder or help your robots progress. Check Update #1 for some images depicting game play.
