We're finally making an album together. Many of you know us separately from our other bands, Enter the Haggis and Burning Bridget Cleary, and maybe some of you only know us as a duo from our web series "House of Hamill."
Regardless, you know how passionate we are about music and how dedicated we are to our creative projects, whether we're traveling to open-mics to film our episodes, staying up until 2AM learning the guitar solo in "Sweet Child O' Mine," on violin (seriously), or spending a month in Ireland learning new tunes.
Now, we're recording an album, and it's unlike anything either of us have ever done. The majority of the tunes and songs will be originals, and we honestly think you'll find them unique and compelling. For those of you wondering, this will not be a "traditional" album, but as you know, both of our roots are deeply buried in the Irish/Scottish/Canadian tradition, and you will definitely hear those influences coming through.
We want all of our projects to be interactive. We don't want you to pledge your money, just so we can send you some cool stuff, thank you and then move on. We want to meet you. That's why we included so many in-person, live rewards. We want you to literally be a part of this with us.
We're incredibly excited to be working on this album. Writing and arranging music together has been an incredible outlet, and we think you'll love the outcome. Thank you so much for taking the time to check us out, and we hope to see you all soon.

Risks and challenges
As I'm sure you've all heard by now, making an album can be incredibly expensive. We're keeping our goal modest because we have the luxury of recording at home, but we still need your help to cover all of the other expenses, including mixing, mastering, production, design, promotion....
The bottom line is, we're excited to get to work! We understand that this will be a major investment, and the more help we have, the more successful we will be!
There are only two of us, so time and scheduling may sometimes work against us, but making music is what we love to do. This is our first major project for both of us outside of our respective bands, and we want it to be good. Really good.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
