Hello! This is the Good Minnesotan #4 funding page. Welcome!
Good Minnesotan is an experimental comic art anthology focusing on cartoonists and artists from Minnesota. This series was started as a platform to promote Minnesotan artists and the great comics scene we have here. Giving up-and-coming talents a place to play on the printed page and discover their voice has been a joy. I have learned a lot from the artists we’ve had in each issue and I thank them for their contributions. At 120+ pages and nearly 30 contributors, GMN4 ought to be our strongest outing yet.
If we are able to achieve our funding goal, Good Minnesotan 4 will be sold at the very affordable retail price of $5. A lower price generally attracts a larger audience, which means increased exposure for these Minnesotan cartoonists and artists.
The money raised for GMN4 will be put directly towards our printing costs, which involves two different printers: one for the cover, the other for the interior pages. The cover is an archival Giclee print on elephant poop paper bound to form a slipcase which will hold four little books. I will be hand binding every book and slipcase. If we are able to reach our minimum funding goal, that will allow us to print and bind 250 copies. If we can raise twice that, we’ll double the run to 500 copies!

Note: A list of contributors for the complete edition will be included shortly in an update. Same goes with any reviews we receive.
