Splatter Comics Presents: JUSTICE
Thank you for checking out Splatter Comics first ever Kickstarter campaign. We are looking to get Justice #1 to the printer and introduce a few of our other titles.
We are printing these 28 page books (possibly bigger with stretch goals) in full color and beautiful offset printing. The pages are done, the printer is ready. All we need is your support!
He has no name. He has no family or friends. He can feel your thoughts when he's standing next to you and re-live your memories by looking into your eyes. He is known by many names but answers to only one. He is Justice.
I started woking on the Justice project when I was 18 years old. After finishing the pencils for the first 44 pages I shifted gears and moved on to my next project. So there it sat, in a box for many years, but never far from my thoughts. The story started out quite simply as a super hero book. I was always very proud of the artwork. My perception of the character has grown over the years and become more complex and I thought it would be fun to start him out as the same simple young man I originally envisioned him to be and have him mature over the course of the story into the multi dimensional character I see him as today.
I like to think my artistic style has become more refined over the years. Inking and coloring over pencils I completed so long ago has been a blast and gave me the opportunity to "fix" some things and completely re-draw others. Justice is intended for an adult audience and is rated R for language, violence and sexual situations.
Flesh or Blood
Vampires turn from predators to protectors of the human race on the verge of a Zombie apocalypse.
Christian, the Regent of New York, has been discovered and must do battle with a group hell-bent on his destruction. Led by Vanderbilt, a fourth generation Hunter, his family's mission has been to protect humanity from the infestation of immortals. While successful in battle, his location is compromised, Christian is left with no choice but to abandon New York and seek refuge in Sin City.
Xavier, the Regent of Las Vegas, runs the hottest club on the Las Vegas Strip. For him, immortality is all about power, and the perks that come with it. Still a Youngblood, (An immortal still within his original lifespan), Xavier is bound by honor and blood to take in his fellow Vampire but he is suspicious of Christians motivations and not happy about hosting his new houseguest.
Soon the rivals will need to rely on each other, as well as unexpected allies, to assure the survival of both themselves and humanity when a horrifying secret escapes from the desert and threatens to wipe out mankind and immortals alike.
Flesh or Blood is intended for an adult audience and is rated R for language, breif nudity, violence and sexual situations.
Army of Nun
It's Gods job to judge, it's her job to arrange the meeting.
After a dishonorable discharge from the U.S. Marines under mysterious circumstances, Annie Diener decides to dedicate her life to Christianity in an impoverished part of the world. When General Betto and his band of hoodlums ransack her convent and kidnap students of the Catholic school for girls, Annie must choose between her newfound faith or the weapons of war to get the girls back.
Army of Nun is intended for an adult audience and is rated PG 13 for language and violence.
Plus brand new Mini Prints for Flesh or Blood and Justice!
STRETCH GOAL $3,000
I'm going to add a 4 page Splatter Comics sketchbook section to the end of the Comic if we can reach the Stretch Goal of $3,000. Tell your friends, share the link and lets get more art in the book for everyone.
Risks and challenges
95% of the work on Justice has already been done. Flesh or Blood #1 & 2 and the Army of Nun T-shirts are already printed. I am in the process of creating the pin-ups for Flesh or Blood and Justice with the pin up for Army of Nun already complete. Our risks and challenges are very low as I have allowed ample time to complete and ship deliveries. We have the amazing print company that produced Flesh or Blood #1 & 2 ready to go and I'm going to intentionally limit the first printing of Justice #1 to ensure the supporters of this Kickstarter receive a rare and more valuable book.
My twenty plus year career as a graphic artist makes the production of books, shirts & prints second nature so I can focus on offering the highest possible quality of rewards.
