Vikings of Dragonia is a strategic board game of area control and hand management. Players lead their own Viking clan and compete to gain the most Honor and treasure through occupying islands and battling with your opponents. Players can also control the Wild Dragon to protect their islands and prevent opponents from collecting treasures!

SIMPLE RULES & STRATEGIC DEPTH
- Easy-to-Setup & Quick-to-Play: Vikings of Dragonia can be set up quickly and played in less than an hour!
- Well-Balanced Game: We introduced a unique game mechanic where the number of Honor Points for a player can be removed as quickly as it can be obtained. This enables very dynamic gameplay as leaders can shift quickly through out the game.
- Player Interaction: Without being conflict heavy, you can initiate battles against your opponents with Fireball Cards. Also, you can control the Wild Dragon to prevent them from collecting loot!
- Scalability & Replayability: We made a modular tessellating game board that allows players to change the map for every time they play. We scaled the game so it is just as fun to play with 5 players with minimum downtime between turns.
- No player elimination: Players do not get eliminated from the game so that you will always have the opportunity to make a comeback.
TESTED by HUNDREDS
- Vikings of Dragonia has been tested hundreds of times by players all over the country, including Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City.
- We played at DunDraCon and KublaCon, several local Board Game MeetUps and at Game Stores (Isle of Gamers and Games of Berkeley) in the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Dragon Meeple: Each game comes with 2 custom Dragon Meeples about twice the size of a standard 16 mm meeple.
- Adorable Artwork: All illustrations feature adorable artwork and dynamic, vibrant colors that can be appreciated by all ages!
"The game offers an excellent marriage of Euro- and American-style gaming" - Quincy Rhoads, Indie Cardboard.
"I think it’s one that casual gamers could enjoy learning, but more experienced gamers will be able to discover some depth to it." - Jonathan Liu, GeekDad.
"This is one of those perfect little gateway family games that doesn't have a ton of rules but has a lot of unexpected depth to it." - Lance Myxter, UndeadViking.

This is a fast-paced interactive strategic game. A 5-player game can be played within an hour!
We introduced new game mechanics in Vikings of Dragonia that makes the game engaging to play and well-balanced.
The Wild Dragon is a novel game mechanic that we incorporated. The Wild Dragon is a Neutral Unit, which means it can be controlled by any player only on their turn. What's interesting is that the Wild Dragon can be used Offensively and Defensively, depending on your strategy. It has 2 special powers: 1) Active Wild Dragons prevent any adjacent islands from collecting Viking Coins during the Loot Phase and 2) Any water and islands spaces adjacent to a Wild Dragon are considered Safe Zones, where no Vikings can be attacked.
Players can initiate a Viking Battle with an opponent playing Fireball Cards. The defending player can choose to respond with another Fireball, which continues the battle, OR play a Retreat Card to return to the Village, OR discard the Viking from play. Battles continue until one Viking is discarded or returned to the Village.

As a small startup, we can't fund the production of Vikings of Dragonia on our own. We’ve spent over 2.5 years to design, playtest and develop Vikings of Dragonia into what it is today. We need your support to place a minimum order with our manufacturing and shipping partners. If we reach our goal, we’ll be able to fund the production of Vikings of Dragonia and continue creating new engaging, interactive games!
