"Why Grandma Keeps Forgetting" is a book meant to help describe the effects Alzheimer's Disease/Dementia have on the body.
In the Book, the memories of Grandma are various pieces of candy. Alzheimer's Disease is represented by a monster that takes the candy.
We've been working with great communities on various social media platforms to get our story straight
Alzheimer's Disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States. In fact, over 5.7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's Disease currently and that number may rise to over 14 million by 2050.
It is very likely that someone in your life has been touched by Alzheimer's Disease in some way or shape.
It's very tough to describe the effects Alzheimer's Disease has on our loved ones to children or teens. We wanted to create a story that makes it easier to do just that. And we wanted to do it in a kid-friendly way with colorful images and an interesting story.

Risks and challenges
Every Kickstarter project has a certain level of risk. We worked very hard to reduce that risk as low as possible. In the past, we've produced free e-books and distributed them digitally. We are building connections with manufacturers who specialize in children's book production and hope to continue our great relationships with these contacts.
We do not foresee any delays in our schedule but anything can happenLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
