Welcome to IronheadE: Punimals, the first set in the IronheadE series.
Punimals features the first 52 cards in the series with enough for two players to build their own decks. Each set is fully playable on its own and comes with unique art on every card.
IronheadE is a new two player card game series based around structured play, strategy and timing. Using the cards at their disposal, players build a deck in any way they choose consisting of exactly twenty unique cards they then play against another player in a best of three match to find a winner.
The game is fun to build, quick to play and infinitely customisable.
IronheadE was inspired by Gwent in many ways but with a greater focus on positioning and having a variety of effects with way less emphasis on a wide range of card values. This is my tribute to the best game in a game since triple triad.
IronheadE is played on a personal five by three grid, although you don't need an actual mat to play.
The card below shows the parts you'll want to bear in mind.
Points: This is how many points you gain or lose when this card comes into play.
Placement: This lets you know which row of the grid you are allowed to play this card into.
Set: This may be referenced in the ability text, this will be helpful to remember when deck building.
Ability: This is the action you can take when this card is played. If this features an increase in points it only counts what is on your field at the time. If the card is removed from the field your total points remain.
Having built their twenty card decks, players shuffle their cards and draw the top ten cards and now, using those cards, the goal is to have the most points when both players have chosen to not play any further cards.
When you play a card it must be in the correct placement on your grid and all cards after your first must be touching the edge of a card in play, diagonals don't count.
Playing a card scores you the points written on it, both in the top left and anything you would gain through the ability text. Players keep track of this either on paper or with dice, or whatever you have available.
Players have two options on their turn, play and resolve one card from their hand or pass, but if you pass you can no longer play cards for the rest of the round. When the round ends the player with the higher points is the winner.
This is then repeated until one player wins twice.

Jazz and Them's Fightin' Words - Our other games, £10 each.
Jazz is the fast-paced memory game for 2 or more players that turns you into a 1930′s jazz musician, with the added bonus of not requiring a SHRED of musical talent to begin with!
Them’s Fightin’ Words! is a multiplayer card game where you take on the role of a salty cowboy hurling the longest insult possible at every other player at the table. You forget, you mess up, you take a hit. Three hits and you’re out. Be careful though, not only does the pile of words in the middle of the table stack up, the ending can also change at a moments notice.
Play Mat - £12.50 per mat. Play mat with premium fabric top to prevent damage to cards during game play. Rubber backing lets the play mat lay flat and prevents the mat from shifting during use. Comes with some great artwork that you can see below:

Risks and challenges
We've done the maths on this, folks. 7/5 Games has over 13 years of experience in the game creation/publication field. We wouldn't put out any game we were not satisfied had been fully tested and was worth playing. We know our suppliers, our artists and our gaming group. Obviously freak things can happen but we hope that they have been minimised but there's nothing we cannot deal with.
Like all of our games, Punimals is designed, produced and manufactured entirely in the UK.
This is a much smaller project, both in terms of print run and goal size, it is also the most ambitious artistically, with 52 unique images across the set. All the artwork is complete and ready to go however, so there's nothing to worry about with design delays. All we need to do is print and ship.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
